Julie Ellwood Clinic specialises in the treatment of babies and children. Treatment starts in pregnancy, supporting the mother-to-be through a comfortable pregnancy and helping to prepare the pelvis for optimal birthing experience. A 'mother and baby' health check is then recommended to ensure the baby does not carry structural tensions from the in-utero lie or birth process, and that the mother's pelvis, spine and general structure is guided gently back to its pre-pregnancy condition. Julie is particularly interested in unsettled behaviours for unknown reasons in infants and is studying her PhD through the British School of Osteopathy and University of Bedfordshire in this area.
