I hadn't been to the dentist for about 10 years and when I started to get a pain in my left jaw/teeth. I decided I had no choice but to go to a dentist so after spending ages looking for a dentist and reading reviews, I settled on No 5 in Hindhead. Emma asked about my history and if and where was my pain to which I said yes. She looked at my teeth thoroughly and because I had told her about my pain, she advised me that it would be a good idea to get a fuller picture with x-rays. After the x-rays, Emma did another small test to find out if my nerve endings were alive with a very painless prod of a stick thing. (Sounds worse than it is). As I mentioned earlier, I hadn't been to the dentist for about 10 years, so naturally a little apprehensive about going. After much thought and research I settled on No 5 Dental Care. I was still nervous as I was driving up there, however, I needn't have worried at all! As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted with a very friendly receptionist in a very nice, calming and comfortable waiting room. I was asked to fill out a form on an iPad (very painless) and then pretty much immediately was greeted by Emma the dentist. Again incredibly friendly and calm which put me at ease straight away. In fact, all the staff I met there were lovely, totally made me feel welcome and at ease. Price wise, It's a private clinic so not cheap, however you get exactly what you pay for and its worth it. Emma will not charge you for something you don't need. Emma as a dentist is very gentle, patient and just lovely. I can't fault her or her team and would highly recommend them. If you are a little nervous, then go to No 5! Emma is very knowledgeable. Thank you, Emma and the team.

I have been going to see Chris at Hermes Dental with issues with the same tooth for the last 12 months. I am terrified of dentists, so only go if I have to. Chris is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. His calm, professional manner and explanation of everything he is doing/going to do helped my anxiety at every appointment. Last February time I opted for a filling to fix the issue to begin with, but was told that it may not work. I knew the risk of choosing this option. Lo and behold, 2 days before Christmas I had to book an emergency appt for the same tooth. I had 2 options, Extraction or Root Canal. Both were just as terrifying as the other but opted for the root canal. I knew this option would be the most expensive but it was better than removing the tooth. During this visit, I had a meltdown, tears, uncontrollable shaking, the works! Chris was so patient with me and did not rush back into the chair. The shaking and tears continued throughout the procedure but this is by far no reflection on Chris as a dentist, just my fear of them. To make things easier, we did the root canal over 7 weeks and today was my final visit to have the crown fitted. Spreading the treatments over 7 weeks also made it easier on the purse strings. A root canal is not cheap, but I would have rather paid the money to someone who knows what they are doing and has the most incredible bedside manner than go somewhere on the cheap. Everything about Hermes is inviting (as much as a dentist can be). Their receptionist (forget her name) is such a lovely girl. It’s nice to be greeted with a friendly smile when you are scared! She would happily talk to you which in turn calmed me down before going in. Their dental nurses aren’t rough with you and it doesn’t smell like dentists normally do! I couldn’t be happier with my choice of dentists, and luckily this one was just across the road. I cannot express this enough, Hermes is such a great dental practice and Chris is a credit to their team. We weren't just a number to Chris. He remembered conversations from previous visits, and genuinely cared, which is a rare quality in some health professionals. All I can say is Thank You to Chris and the team around him and although I hope I never see him again (nothing personal), I would book back with him in an instant if I had any further issues.

As always a very friendly kind and caring practice. Dr Simon Horsley is so knowledgable, professional and caring. I highly recommend SmileWorks you won't get better treatment anywhere else. 5 stars.

You have no idea how scared I was. Thank you to the dental hygienist at your practice. I think her name is Nor, she cleaned away all the stains from my smoking. No pain and she's so thorough - I'm going to get the teeth whitening done after payday. I want to tell everybody The best Dental Hygienist in Milton Keynes.

Visited the dentist today, had an excellent experience! Dr Shetye and Nurse Rukhsar were very proficient, professional, kind and caring! Pain-free seamless experience! Reception staff very pleasant and welcoming, all working very hard in these trying times. All COVID safety measures implemented. I felt very safe and reassured! This dental practice is truly the best dental practice I have ever experienced. Amazing team! Thank you so much for all your care and kindness!
