What is Breast Implant Surgery?

Breast Implant Surgery, or Boob Job or Breast Augmentation Surgery, is performed to give women fuller and more rounded breasts.  It is popular among women who have lost breast volume because of weight loss or after childbirth and breast feeding. It is also performed for breast cancer patients who have undergone mastectomy surgery, to reconstruct their breasts.

How is Breast Implant Surgery done?

Breast Implant Surgery is performed either by a fat transfer procedure to increase the volume of breasts or by making incisions and inserting silicone gel or saline filled implants to increase the size of breasts. Depending on the patient's requirements they can be inserted above or underneath the muscle tissue of the breast and be inserted through incisions made underneath the breast or under the armpit.  The surgeon should explain the benefits of each type of procedure.

My first experience of the treatment I received. Wood MediSpa, South Tawton, Devon is set in beautiful grounds and a magnificent building. From the minute you arrive you are made to feel at ease. Reception staff and the nurse involved were both very friendly and welcoming. Dr Toby Nelson carried out cryotherapy. He explained in detail what would happen and checked that I understood and was happy for him to proceed. I was treated with respect and kindness throughout my visit and certainly felt it was good value. I would recommend Wood MediSpa and Dr Nelson to people.

I can’t thank Mr Mcculley enough for the amazing transformation following a breast augmentation, this has changed my life and given me so much more confidence. From the minute I met Mr Muccully I felt completely at ease and trusted him 100%. Following having a child and losing a little weight I had become very unhappy with my breasts this affected a lot of aspects of my life, it took me a long time to make this decision and I wanted a natural look. Mr Mucculley advised partially under the muscle and gave me some advice around sizing for my frame and the look I wanted after a further consultation I decided to leave the decision to size to Mr Muculley I trusted him and his expertise completely. Valerie his secretary was fantastic at answering my questions and got me booked in working hard to get a date around my work commitments. Mr Muculley saw me on the morning of my surgery and confirmed everything the confidence he has in his work and his knowledge provided me with a lot of reassurance this was important to me before going into surgery. The whole procedure was seamless and recovery advice was given by Mr Mcculley has an open door policy and any questions I had after was answered. His website is incredibly thorough and I was regularly checking things! My hospital stay was pleasant and I was looked after really well there was no rush for me to leave the following day and I was checked by Mr Muculley before being discharged. I am absolutely delighted with my results I would highly recommend Mr Muculley to anyone who is considering breast augmentation he is a fantastic surgeon who takes complete pride in what he does I am so glad I picked him.
