I would like to Thank You So Much for everything, to the Global Health and BookingSurgery. My coordinator was amazing and answered all questions and doubts, the support was incredible. Because even though my surgery is done, she made herself available if I need any support. I had such an amazing experience during my stay in the Optimed International Çorlu Hastanesi. I had Dr Ali Tardu as my surgeon and he was amazing, very attentive, and checked on me regularly. I can say that I had fun during my stay. All the staff that worked on the 6th floor, Nurses and Housekeepers that were in contact were amazing, friendly, kind, caring and patient. It felt like home. The only "negative" thing was with the kitchen staff from the hospital, not negative but they were not prepared for people with gluten intolerant and vegan. That was mentioned in advance before I booked the surgery and when I arrived at the hospital. With me it was not a big problem because I was not eating but my friend is gluten intolerant and they kept giving her food with gluten, I mentioned it to the staff and they gave her an alternative but not much. The other negative thing was that they did not understand one of my allergies, I mentioned to my coordinator that I have allergies to latex before I booked the surgery and I also mentioned in the hospital when I arrived, but kept using latex gloves during all stay, the only time that did not used was during the surgery because I see them with the latex free gloves and they kept saying no latex.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Treated like a VIP from start to finish. I had my gastric sleeve in Feb 2023, and now in April 2024, I'm nearly 9 stone down. All thanks to Martin's clinic. They have been supportive from start to even now, in contact now keeping an eye on me. The hospital I stayed in was more like a hotel it was beautiful and clean. I brought a friend with me who was looked after like a VIP as well. I couldn't fault the clear information given to me, and the care given to me was 10/10.

I would highly recommend AYT Clinic. From the very start of looking into a gastric sleeve, I was greeted with a message from Asli. Who became my co-ordinator, she answered all of my questions, any time of the day. She never pressured me book the surgery, she was patient and waited for me to say when I wanted it. I went to have a gastric sleeve, and she was lovely and helpful and took me through everything I needed, for the pre-op testing and her English language for translating. I was picked up from the airport and taken back which no issues. The nurses in the hospital anre excellent and are always checking on you, whenever you need them they come straight away to help. Dr Erdem Can Yardimci was my surgeon and he was amazing and clearly great at his job and made me feel comfortable to perform the surgery. They are professional and smart at AYT and nothing is too much for them to help with. I can’t fault my experience and I am so glad I chose AYT Clinic.

The best surgeon! He was very supportive and positive—I always felt safe. The nurses at the hospital were so lovely, making me feel pain-free and comfortable. I healed perfectly with almost invisible scars, and I owe him my new positive outlook on life—5 stone lost! I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. My husband was given a bed beside me and full board too. Had the procedure done on Monday and was out shopping by Thursday. Great team around him too!

I had my procedure in August 2023. Mel was amazing and supported me through the whole process. I stayed for 5 days and took my partner. The rooms were clean and cleaned 3 times a day. Everything was explained to me by Mel. The consultant took the time to constantly check on me and make sure I was ok.

I had gastric sleeve surgery 5 days ago. that was painful at the beginning but after 1 day, I was feeling good. They always advise me to walk. Now, I'm resting at their hotel. I had lens replacement surgery with Associate Professor of ophthalmology Dr Derda Oder at BHT clinic in Istanbul. From the initial contact with him to the end he was very down to earth, transparent, friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. I had researched and contacted many surgeons. He suggested lenses that would be suitable for each eye and on examining me when I got there, decided one eye needed a different lens which was £150 less. He immediately informed me. He is an excellent surgeon and Hasan, his lovely, capable interpreter was there for me at all times. All the staff are very professional and attentive. The surgery went well and the aftercare was very good. On my last visit, Dr Derda said to contact them at any time if I have any questions or concerns, gave me lifetime lens passports and told me any time I was in Turkey I was to come and have a free assessment. Dr Derda is also very well priced and I’m absolutely thrilled to throw away glasses that I’ve been wearing for many decades. I highly recommend Dr Derda and his team. You can see his work on his Instagram page, including various eye surgeries. He has been involved in many studies in the past and ongoing.
