Hi all, Well mine is a bit of a strange story and I don't know how common my situation is. 10 years ago I had a Gastric bypass on the NHS and it worked great, I lost close on 75kg. However, during lock down, like so many others out of boredom I drank lots of alcahol and started getting back in bad eating habits and put on over 30kg. I tried getting this looked into by the NHS but my GP just seemed not to care. I called around for quotes in the UK and the cheapest I was offered was £13,000 which I just could not afford so decides to look into what is awailable in other countries. Turkey came up as my best option and managed to finde The Healwide click where Ömer did a great job in offering me a fantastic offer for a gastric bypass revision at an affordable price. I flew to Turkey to the Medical Park Hospital and on the 8th of May and after many and very thorough check ups I had my operation. Everything went really well, the Surgeons and all the other staff were very caring. I very much doubt you would get much better treatment anywhere else. I have now lost over 8kg in just over a week and just know this is going to be a great success.

I had a sleeve gastrectomy on 3rd November 2023 with Dr Cem Arslan. The whole experience was seemless, stress-free and very comfortable. The whole team made me feel very safe and confident and the service was excellent. I had an ECG and blood tests and lungs checked before surgery, and was monitored closely by nurses before and after surgery. The follow-up has also been excellent, maintaining contact and available for questions 24/7! I have no regrets about my decision and highly recommend Dr Cem and his wonderful team to anyone! I am so grateful for the care, support and individual attention I received!

I had my surgery with Aktif at vital hospital with Dr Ibrahim Agackiran on the 4th of July 2023. Dr Ibrahim is great, seems to know what he’s doing and is very professional. The surgery went well, and I’m currently down 7 kg in 1 week!! Here are some pros and cons of the surgery and some things to think about if you want to have the surgery. Pros: +The surgeons/doctors at the facility are very professional and good at their job. +The guide/translator Luca was great, super nice and helpful. +I feel great after the surgery but it's a huge adjustment. +They’ve been very helpful at answering all my questions now afterwards and they are quick to reply to you. Cons: - Most of the nurses at the facility don’t speak English so it’s hard to communicate with them but they are very friendly and try their best to help you. -I wasn't given proper info/instructions about my medications (especially the blood thinner syringes I had to give myself). I had to kinda figure it out on my own. I wish they would have shown me how to do it while I was at the hospital. -I wasn’t told how to properly care for the wounds/incisions after the surgery so two of them are infected now. I tried to care for them to the best of my ability and they will hopefully clear out in a couple of days with the antibiotics. -Doctors in Sweden don’t want to help me as much now because I’ve had surgery abroad.

I would like to thank Sam Patient Services for their professionalism. I travelled alone, unaccompanied, to a foreign country for a transit bipartition operation. Everything was very well organised, up to the minute, very polite and efficient. Everything is to the highest standards. And now, after the operation, we keep in touch and I get answers to any questions. Thanks a lot to Buse who was patient with me. Don't hesitate, truly professional and dedicated people will be permanent with you. Thanks also to the medical team led by Dr Serhat Buldur, professional and close to people. I went to Turkey in September 2023. I had gastric sleeve surgery the day after my arrival, and my surgery went well. The staff was amazing; nurses, cleaners and even surgeons; We should not forget the wonderful coordinators. Irem took care of me from the first minute to the last minute. I did my own research and went to BHT and I am very pleased. They are definitely 10/10.

From start to finish AYT looked after me and helped me and supported me. Asli was incredible always there to answer any questions and was a great support when I was in Turkey having the op. Everyone I met at AYT clinics was amazing and nothing was ever too much trouble. The hospital, the hospital staff and my surgeon were one in a million too. I have always had hooded eyelids. About a year ago the hooding became so bad that I knew I had to get my eyes done. It was affecting my vision. I put it off for years because I have seen many people (with the financial resources to get the best work done) whose eyes do not look natural. They look continuously surprised. I ran into so many people that looked like that, that I assumed that was what you looked like after having upper eyelid surgery. I interviewed three doctors before deciding on Dr Elif from Medhera Health Clinic because I was concerned that I wouldn’t look like myself after surgery. My surgery could have been covered by insurance but I chose to pay out of pocket because Dr. Elif is that good! I chose her because she was the most thorough in explaining my procedure and she promised me that my eyes would look natural. The whole experience was seamless. Everyone who works in her office is pleasant, knowledgeable, and competent. You can tell they all love working there and it shows in how they work. Phone calls were returned promptly. They took the time to answer my questions. They sent multiple reminders for appts and were flexible in scheduling. Dr. Elif is a kind, caring doctor. That wasn’t something I required in my surgeon but it amazingly made the whole experience enjoyable. Even the surgery was enjoyable. She played a great musical soundtrack which was relaxing and she explained what she was doing throughout the process. I found that very comforting. Her follow-up after surgery was very thorough and my eyes healed beautifully. I highly recommend going to see her before you make your decision. She is the best at what she does and it shows. It was wonderful to come across Clinichub. Unfortunately, although my soul is still young, our body succumbs to the times. It succumbs to gravity. I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment I stepped off the plane I was looked after and made to feel so welcome and safe. The surgeons were absolutely amazing, the nurses were attentive and so caring, I don’t have a bad word to say. If your like me and looking for a safe place outside the u.k to have surgery and change your life this the place to go. I will definitely be going back if I need any body contouring after I lose all this weight!

Highly recommend. I had a gastric ballon six months ago. I lost 20 kg with the support and great advices from Dietitian Nur. Dr Kaplan is a very good doctor with huge experience and always want the best option for patient. It was a good experience. Also good value for money.

I had my gastric sleeve surgery on 26/04/22. It had been booked for a few months and in that time Fatih the coordinator was very patient and very helpful at answering my 1 million questions. Upon arrival at airport on 25/04, I was picked up by a lovely driver who made me feel at ease, I then was took to the hospital for covid tests and then dropped at hotel. All arrangements for the next morning were sent to me that day so I knew the schedule. I was picked up from hotel on morning of 26/04 and had to fast from 11pm the night before. I was immediately impressed with how clean and modern the hospital department was and how friendly the staff were. All the tests were explained to me and performed promptly. The surgeon Dr Bora came round and was so friendly and made me feel at ease. He explained they would do the endoscopy and the surgery under the same anaesthetic to minimise the risk. He also gave me a time for my surgery which gave me time to mentally prepare. I had my surgery in the afternoon of 26/04 and was sleepy and in some pain (mainly gas pain) for the next 24 hours. The nurses were very helpful and always asked if I wanted pain relief or help. I can't thank them enough. I spent two days in the hospital and then two days in a hotel before flying home. I would highly recommend the surgery and the clinic. Very professional, very customer service focused, made me feel at ease and the care was first class. I also had no transfers or taxis to pay, I was driven everywhere by the clinic drivers, given medication, a diet plan no instructions on how to start moving around.

I would highly recommend booking surgery I received fantastic communication before I even landed in Istanbul with my amazing coordinator Nina. Even when I arrived home she was there on the other end of the phone answering the questions I had all whilst heavily pregnant she really went above and beyond for me. I had 2 procedures I had a FDL Extended Tummy tuck & breast uplift & implants following a 7 stone 5 weight loss my surgeon was Dr Emin he was incredible he knew exactly the look I wanted and he done an incredible job. I am very impressed with my neat stitching and my results are fantastic. He came and saw me every morning after the operation to check I was okay and if I had any questions he really was amazing. I am hopefully heading back next year for a thigh lift, the hospital and nurses were amazing they took care of me every step off the way with pre-op testing & the aftercare was brilliant. I heeled beautiful, I choose this clinic on recommendations through a lot of my weigh loss surgery friends and I am so glad I found booking surgery you won’t be disappointed.

Leaving the grand medical tomorrow after having a gastric sleeve surgery, I was picked up by Mel who has been amazing throughout the week, checking in on me and getting anything I might need, literally goes above and beyond! Dr Osman is lovely and felt very confident in his hands!! On the first day I arrived testing is very thorough and op well explained. The staff don't speak much English but are very helpful and mel is there to translate, hospital and rooms are cleaned continuously and rooms are spacious! I will be back for more surgery in the future!

Seven months ago, I had my gastric sleeve. Everything was very soothing. I went to Istanbul only for my surgery. To be very honest, I was very nervous about my surgery, but when I came to the clinic, I noticed that they provide their best services at a meager rate. All the staff members and doctors are concerned about the health of their patients. Within one week of hospital and & hotel stay, their clinic staff members very much cared about my health status, and I lost 42 kg in seven months. I must say this is the best experience ever in my life.
