Revisional Bariatric Surgery Worldwide

I'm writing this comment from home on day 6 of my surgery. I would like to say that I was very scared when I decided to have the operation, but when I arrived in Istanbul and got into the vehicle that was supposed to take me to the hospital, I felt very safe. When I arrived at the hospital, my translator was waiting for me and helped me settle into my room. Before my operation, all the necessary tests were carried out, x-rays were taken and my heart was examined. It was like an investigation was being conducted. The next morning Dr. visited me. Cem with my translator, answered all my questions and encouraged me to have the operation. He is both a very good doctor and very professional. After the operation, I had some pain but they gave me enough painkillers. After a few hours, I was able to walk and move around the hospital on my own. After the hospital the vehicle took me to my hotel, everything was ready for me and the hotel was very nice. I stayed in the hotel for two nights. A WhatsApp group was set up with a nutritionist, a doctor and a translator and I was immediately given all the necessary information. I'm home now and can say my surgery went great. I recently had gastric sleeve surgery at BHT clinic and I had a great experience. From getting picked up from the airport and taken to the hospital, which is like a five star hotel, to the professionalism of the translator, the nurses 24/7 care and the surgeon checking on me every day after the surgery. I really couldn’t fault it. I had my own room with bathroom and I could even take a companion if I wanted to ( they just would have had to pay for their flight). There was food service and they even provided assistance in the airport on my return home. I would definitely recommend it and I am considering it for plastics after I reach my weight goal.

I hope this helps someone. I came here a couple of years ago to have a sleeve operation, and everything was first class and excellent value for money. I am fully recovered now and lost over 9st and am very happy with my decision. I chose to have my Gastric Sleeve surgery with NewMe Clinic following recommendations. I know someone who has had surgery here already and has had great success. I also chose this clinic due to the experience and reputation of Prof Nurullah Bulbuller. From the moment I made contact I was impressed with the responsiveness to my questions, I had loads! We was greeted at the airport and transferred to the hospital in comfortable transportation. All staff treated me and my husband with the utmost respect. I had to have some tests done on arrival, which continued the morning of surgery day, to make sure I was fit for surgery. The surgery went well, although the pain when being woken was unbelievable! Once back in my room, I was given intravenous pain relief, which relieved the pain enough for me to settle. The pain eased greatly 3 days after surgery. I was encouraged to walk soon after surgery, which is important to relieve pain from gas. My husband was provided with all his meals during my stay and a comfortable bed in my room. We didn’t want for anything. I have been sent home with vitamins, stomach protector and blood thinning injections, with a support network on the phone if needed. I had the 360 lipo, BBL and blepharoplasty. I was really nervous as I went on my own. The team were fantastic and reassured me throughout my stay. They were thorough, professional and made sure to keep checking I was always comfortable and feeling ok. I am yet to see the final results of my treatments but I can already see the amazing difference. I will be returning for further treatments later this year. Fantastic service.

I went to Turkey in April 2024 for a gastric sleeve with Dr Suleyman. The experience was amazing from start to finish. I was well looked after by all the staff and made feel at ease. Nothing was too much trouble before and after surgery. I had undergone many tests before my op which were very thorough and put my mind at ease knowing they had checked I was suitable to be operated on. I had my procedure in August 2023. Mel was amazing and supported me through the whole process. I stayed for 5 days and took my partner. The rooms were clean and cleaned 3 times a day. Everything was explained to me by Mel. The consultant took the time to constantly check on me and make sure I was ok.

I had an excellent experience with the hair transplant in Turkey. The service was top-notch, and the results were outstanding. I stayed in the hotel in Bodrum, which is an hour drive away from the hospital. They offer a private driver service, so you don’t have to worry about transportation. The whole process took a couple of hours, but you’re required to stay overnight. I was back in the hotel in the early afternoon. For foreigners, I recommend reading about hair transplants and preparing questions in advance. The instructions aren’t always clear enough. Once I returned to the UK, I was able to contact the hospital and ask any further questions. Highly recommended.

I had revision surgery by Dr Tahir Oruc. I originally wanted a gastric sleeve and knew the surgery was risky and when I had questions he answered them really quickly within 10 minutes of messaging Afef. He was so honest and he wouldn’t take risks with my health which made me feel safe. I had my mini gastric bypass on 6th November and have so far lost a stone. He did say I wouldn’t lose as quickly as a sleeve but would be a steady loss which is good. Afef was a little gem she kept my mum company and we had a couple of nights out prior to us coming back to the UK. I am a midwife in England so am probably more observant of the care given but could not have asked for better care with Dr Tahir. Thank you to everyone who cared for me and my mum. Nothing was too much trouble.

I would like to thank Dr. Derda Ozer for my surgery and follow-up appointment, as well as Hassan and Zainab from the MDO team. I am especially grateful to Hassan, who served as my host, translating everything for me and taking care of me throughout the process—from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the hospital. I was well taken care of by Dr. Derda Ozer, and the hospital was well-equipped, with all the necessary facilities. My surgery went well, and on the same day, I was transferred to my hotel. The following day, I had a follow-up appointment. Hassan took me on a tour of Istanbul, visiting Aya Sofya, the Sultanahmet area, and the Blue Mosque. I am very thankful to him for being a great host; he speaks excellent English, explains everything clearly, and is a genuinely positive person, and treated me like an older brother. Regarding my surgery, everything went according to plan like we talked about before my visit. As for the results, I am partially satisfied and still recovering, waiting for the final outcome related to my squint eye. I remain in communication with the MDO team and have been advised to give it three months, as recovery times can vary. I may consider future courses of action later on. If I achieve an 80% correction of my squint, I will be very happy. After my surgery, my eye still shows a slight deviation, and the size of my operated eye is still smaller than that of the other eye. Overall, I am satisfied with the surgery and remain hopeful for the best results. I would definitely recommend MDO, as they are a genuine clinic, and the hospital they use for surgeries has all the necessary facilities and is based in Istanbul. They are a trustworthy company that takes great care of their patients, and without a doubt, they are neither fake nor fraudulent. The staff and team are very honest and generous.

I recently had a procedure through this clinic. I am very impressed with the professionalism of the entire team, both before and after surgery. In particular, the post-surgery care far exceeded my expectations.
