I travelled with my friend to Latvia for her surgery and was very impressed with Weight Loss Latvia.

Everything was well organised from airport pickup to hospital care. Ilva, the organiser, was kind and supportive throughout. Dr. Oleg and the medical team were professional and reassuring.

Overall, it was a smooth and positive experience.

I want to sincerely thank Ilva and the entire medical team at Weight Loss Latvia for changing my life. After struggling with my weight and mobility (I have a prosthetic hip), I reached 145kg and knew I needed help. From the very first contact, Ilva guided me through everything, including the HSE Cross-Border Scheme, and made the whole process smooth — from airport transfers to hospital care.

Dr Oleg and the nurses were kind, professional, and made me feel safe throughout. The surgery and recovery were well managed, and even after returning home, Ilva continues to check in and offer support. Ten months later, I am down to 101kg. My pain is gone, my mobility has improved, and I feel like myself again.

I’m truly grateful and highly recommend Weight Loss Latvia to anyone considering this journey.

I’ve been overweight all my adult life. At 52 years old, it was starting to interfere with my health.

From the first enquiry to 8 months post-op, I cannot fault anything. I had a sleeve to bypass revision. The clinic is beautiful, and clean and the staff are amazing. Dr Oleg is just an incredible surgeon, and has a bedside manner which most UK doctors have long lost! And Ilva, is one of the most genuine and kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. When I say I researched thoroughly, I mean *thoroughly*—I had a spreadsheet of options, reviews, prices, and patient feedback from Instagram and TikTok. My only regret is that I wish I had done it sooner. Ilva and Dr. Olegs are an absolute dream team. Ilva is always there when you need her, and the hospital and its care are second to none. I'm now 19 weeks post-op and couldn't be happier or more thankful to Weightloss Latvia.

I had my surgery done early this year. Lost 38kg until today, I'm following the suggested guidelines for my daily diet and feeling great!

Amazing Service Wow where to start. From the first point of contact you hear from the lovely Ilva and she is so lovely and so helpful to talk to.
Information provided is easy to understand and follow. Knowing someone is coming to meet you from the Airport when your going on your own is so reassuring.

I wasn’t worried at all about going on my own in fact as someone who has anxiety I felt so reassured by Ilva prior to travelling. Hotel was lovely. Test done following morning again Ilva comes to meet pick you up and stays with you the whole time. Then taken to the hospital which is lovely and clean, you get your own private room.

Everyone that looked after me was so lovely. You get to see Dr Oleg several times while you in the hospital and he is also brilliant at reassuring you and answering any questions. If I could go back for follow up surgery EG tummy tucks etc in the future the first place I would go is to Ilva and Dr Oleg.

I had no complications with my surgery, I was well looked after and I know I can message Ilva when ever I need for support

I received compassionate care from the lovely nurses and team at Siguilda Hospital in January 2023. With this company, there are plenty of opportunities to ask any question at any point. Dr Olegs is honest, positive and invested in his patients successes. llva is the same, always happy to answer any questions, which helps with both the psychological and physical aspects of bariatric surgery such as achieving a good mindset to help yourself succeed. From start to finish the communication and organisation are beyond reproach. British clinics could learn alot about how to treat patients and not perceive them as cash cows. So to Ilva and the staff a huge vote of confidence and a great appreciation of professional attitude and service and ALWAYS with a smile.

Today is 2 months after my op. I have been trying lots of diets but in end nothing worked. One of my friends suggested I try the Weight Loss Latvian clinic. After a while, I decided to send an e-mail to them to find out more and had a reply on the same day, whereas others took a lot longer to reply.

The hospital staff were amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. Doctor Olegs was a very nice person, he explained everything about the operation and answered all of my questions.

In my opinion, all the Weight Loss Latvia Group were a bunch of really amazing people. I can definitely recommend them, don't wait any longer. JUST DO IT. 5 star treatment from start to finish. Excellent patient care from surgeons, nurses and the lovely Ilva who planned and arranged everything for me. I had a gastric bypass, currently 60kg down 6 months post-op. This surgery changed my life forever! I cannot recommend this clinic enough. Best care and best value for money. U will be in safe hands and very well looked after.

I had an amazing experience at weight loss Latvia. The patient coordinator is very professional and supportive. She is transparent and explains the process factually. All the doctors, nurses and supporting staff are very nice, professional and supportive. I received person-centred care and all my needs were catered for. The hospital is very clean and the standard of care excellent. I will highly recommend this service to anyone who wants to have weight loss surgery.

I had my gastric bypass done on 7th Oct 2021 and I have never received such great care and attention in any hospital. The clinic is beautifully clean and very comfortable and all the nurses are lovely.

From arriving in Latvia, everything was arranged and I had nothing to do but relax and concentrate on my surgery and recovery. My surgeon Dr Oleg visited regularly to check in, as did Ilva and nothing was too much trouble.

I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and would trust them with any follow up cosmetic surgery that I may need. I could not fault them at all - shame there is only 5 stars maximum!!!
