We are senior physiotherapists, proud to bring a new service to people in the West Clare area. We are fully registered, fully insured members of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. Our main therapist is Francoise Lauton, a French qualified Physio with Post Graduate qualification in Paediatrics. Francoise has 30 years of experience in all areas of physiotherapy, twelve of which in Ireland. She has worked in neonatal, paediatric and adult intensive care units, children and adult neurology rehabilitation centres. She was the Early Intervention physiotherapist for the HSE in North Tipperary for three years. In 2011, the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (US name for physiotherapy) listed her as a World Expert in Paediatric Physiotherapy. Aside from treating children, Francoise specializes in Neurology, Respiratory, Biomechanics, Lymphatic Drainage and Orthotic insoles. She also takes care of neck or low back pain and general musculoskeletal conditions. We are located in the Ennistymon Medical Centre, on the first floor, one level below the Dental Clinic. Wheelchair access is through the GP's waiting room. Our clinic will be open on Tuesdays and Fridays  from 2.00 to 6.00 PM. Hours might be extended depending on demand. Home visit available within a 5km radius on referral from GP.

Aine O'Meara is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) degree .She completed a Diploma in Higher Health Care in U.C.D and is a licensed Acupuncturist. Aine has also completed numerous post graduate courses in Manual therapy, Sports therapy and Women's health. Aine is also qualified in Deep dry needling and Orthotic prescription. Raheen Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic was opened in Oct by Aine O Meara and is located near Raheen Church on the Ballycummin Road. Cormac O'Shea is a Chartered Physiotherapist. He graduated from Kings College London and went on to spend years working within the NHS in London, alongside part time work with Crystal Palace football club. Cormac completed his undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science, prior to his Masters Degree in Physiotherapy . Post graduation Cormac has completed APPI pilates courses, he is a qualified Yoga teacher and has completed courses in Dry Needling, Mulligans Manual Therapy techniques and Neuro Orthopaedic Institute courses. He is a keen soccer player, trail runner and all around outdoor enthusiast. Cormac recognises the importance of not only providing symptom relief but encouraging life long health and wellbeing.
