About PhysioCentre

BodyMed - PhysioCentre is a multi-disciplinary team of Physios, Osteopaths, Acupuncturists, Massage therapists (& more!). Our goal is to look at the whole picture, figure out the why's and the how's and help you get back to a place where you are better than before with lots of tools at your disposal so you can stay on top.

We also have Scoliosis specialists at the clinic to help our younger patients and their families.

BodyMed was set up in 2015 when the owner (& Chartered Physiotherapist), Kathy Kavanagh wanted to set up her 'dream team' of therapists all under one roof! The underlying cause for someone's pain or injury is rarely down to one factor and so this way BodyMed patients benefit from a team of experts. Regardless of who you come in to see, if your therapist thinks there may be another area that needs addressing to get you from 90% to 100%, they will discuss this with you and if you are keen to include that in your treatment plan, the team gets to work on making this happen. This is how BodyMed gets patients superior results, faster! What's not to like?

A fantastic clinic with a range of practitioners that are of the highest level

5 50 Physiotherapist Consultation

A fantastic clinic with a range of practitioners that are of the highest level. As a musician. Over overuse injuries can occur from time to time and over the years Bodymed has always found the answer to my recovery. I trust those who work in Bodymed and would have no hesitation in recommending this clinic to everyone. I would like to give a special mention to Kathy Kavanagh (physiotherapist), John Smith (osteopath) and Martin Quinn (acupuncture).

has been able to get to the source of the problem quickly and relieve me

5 50 Sports Injury Rehabilitation - Strapping and Taping, Whiplash • Paid: €60

Sports Injury Rehabilitation - Strapping and Taping, Whiplash

I have had over the years many sports injuries, pregnancy related issues and reoccurring issues from a whip lash long ago. I have been treated by many physios in various countries but never had a physio like Kathy has who has been able to get to the source of the problem quickly and relieve me of acute and chronic pain and regain my normal mobility from complete immobility. She has been able to identify issues where I myself was not aware as I had grown so used to living with the pain. She not only tries to fix the issues but also fully explains with her extensive knowledge how and why they are occurring and how to avoid them in the future with few but effective exercises.

Exceptionally talented physiotherapist

5 50 Spinal Rehabilitation - Neck and Back Injury • Paid: €70

I was extremely pleased with my treatment, and returned about 4 times, I feel such huge relief from pain and numbness in my fingers due to bulging discs in my neck. My son has also been after he broke his elbow and to have surgery. He is fourteen and wanted to get back to rugby where he broke his arm. The treatments he received from Kathy and Cira were not only beneficial to his arm, but they also gave him the confidence and guidance needed for a full recovery. My Daughter, Megan, has also been as she hurt her neck while skiing. Kathy treated her neck and also gave her advice on a few positive changes she could make on a daily basis to give her more energy. Kathy referred Megan to another medical person for further treatments outside the physio spectrum. This I found impressive as the patient's full recovery is Kathy's ultimate goal, and if treatment is needed outside of her clinic, she will refer you to someone who will help you achieve full recovery.

I think Kathy Kavanagh is an exceptionally talented physiotherapist and I recommend her to all my customers and friends.

The best results

5 50 Physiotherapist Consultation • Paid: €70

Physiotherapist / Physical Therapist Consultation

I've had the most positive physiotherapy experience with Kathy. She spent a lot of time with me and gave me a lot of relief. I get muscular and nerve pain and was treated with muscle tissue release work and some spinal and pelvic manipulations. I've been to a lot of different places and this has definitely given me the best results.
