Holistic medicine is now used all over the world. What this means for you is that each part of your physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions is equally important and imbalances in any of these areas can contribute to illness. Holistic medicine considers a person’s mind and body, diet and exercise, lifestyle and relationships, work and leisure, and achievements and problems. Whether you have pain in your leg, a headache, or are suffering from stress Chinese Medicine follows the holistic principle. Chinese medicine states that illness results when there is disharmony in the body, or when something is out of balance. The concept of organs is different to that of Western medicine. In Chinese medicine, organs are viewed according to their perceived functions, rather than literal functions. In Care Cure Clinics we say that the enlightened person eats when hungry and sleeps when tired. This means living in harmony with the energy of the seasons and with the particular requirements of mind and body, which empowers you to influence your own health destiny.
Allergy Testing up to €99
An allergy or intolerance is an acute sensitivity to an otherwise harmless substance. Care Cure conducts an extensive allergy test which checks your sensitivity for up to 100 food items and environmental allergens such as dust mites, pollen and animal hair. The test is conducted by obtaining a strand of your hair, which is then analysed in our labs. When the analysis is complete we will call you for a consultation. At this consultation, you will be given your individual colour-coded test results, which will highlight low - medium - extreme allergies. You will also receive dietary advice, lists of substitute foods (such as spelt for wheat sufferers) and a list of supplements which would benefit you. In addition, we will provide you with our phone number which you may call if you have any further questions regarding dietary advice. Tests can be followed up by treatment if required.

I am looking forward to my next treatmentAngela, Ireland, 25 05 22

I go to Iwona to get a full body massage. I have a problem with my neck and shoulder. So I decided I would get reflexology this time from her. She explains the treatment in relation to reflexology, but also works in a holistic way to provide an enjoyable /relaxing /healing experience. She is very passionate about what she can offer her clients. I wasn't sleeping great and I had a great sleep after my treatment. I am looking forward to my next treatment. I have no hesitation in recommending Iwona to others who are open to find ways of helping improve their health and wellbeing. Thank you Iwona, it is a lovely experience that I will always look forward to.

Lomi Lomi Massage
What is it?Originating in Polynesia, Lomi Lomi Massage (also known as Aloha or Kahuna massage) is a complete healing system which aims to restore harmony and balance within the body, mind and spirit. The word Lomi means to massage; Lomi Lomi means to massage with intention. This is one of the most important principles behind this beautiful bodywork as the practitioner always works on the body with love, nurturing and healing in mind. Hawaiians have always had a deep connection with nature, in particular with the ocean, and this connection is echoed in Lomi Lomi as the practitioner performs long, continuous, sweeping strokes over the body reminiscent of the ebb and flow of the ocean’s waves. These strokes, performed fluidly and rhythmically with both the hands and forearms, work gently and deeply into the muscles releasing tension, as well as on the blood and lymphatic systems making it a powerful, detoxifying massage. They are also designed to help the body let go of old memories, beliefs and behavioural patterns which, in Hawaiian culture, are believed to be stored in every cell of our bodies. These ideas and thoughts can prevent us from living our lives to their true potential and are capable of causing just as much stress and strain on the body as muscle tension. Hawaiians perceive health in terms of energy flow. If there is a blockage obstructing the natural flow of energy then pain, illness or disease may result.Lomi Lomi Massage uses intuitive movement, breath work, focused attention and rhythm to release energy blockages and physical tension to bring about a state of harmony and deep relaxation. What to expect from a treatment A brief consultation will be carried out to establish if there are any contraindications to the treatment and then the therapist will leave you to undress. There will be a couple of minutes of chanting music whilst both the client and practitioner set their intention
Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is part of the Ayurvedic system. Ayurveda, the “Science of Life” is an ancient Indian medical system, believed by many to be the oldest medical system in the world. It emphasizes the uniqueness of the individual, aiming to restore balance and inner harmony to mind, body and spirit, improving health and prolonging life. Ayuveda recommends the use of massage, mainly to improve blood circulation and expel toxins from the body. Indian women traditionally practiced head massage as part of their grooming, initially limiting it to the head and hair, with the objective of keeping hair in beautiful condition. Barbers also practiced, combining haircuts with “champi” (head massage). The tradition was brought to the west by Narendra Mehta, a blind therapist who grew up in India and trained in England as a physiotherapist in the 1970s. Disappointed that massage in England did not extend to the head, he formalized techniques for head massage to include the neck, shoulders and upper arms as well as the head, combining massage with Ayurvedic elements of energy points or charkas, creating a therapy he called Indian Champissage. It is based on acupressure massage, and its benefits are felt throughout the body. The upper arms, shoulders, neck, head and face are massaged to promote relaxation and relieve tension. Indian Head Massage is excellent for treating both physical and mental ailments: By relaxing muscle and nerve fibres, it relieves tension, pain and fatigue. It increases oxygen supply to the brain, aiding clarity of thought and concentration and relieving mental strain. It stimulates endorphin release, helping natural pain relief and increasing feelings of well-being.The sympathetic nervous system is calmed, slowing the heart rate and reducing stress. The parasympathetic nervous system is stimulated, helping one to relax and promoting restful sleep. After the treatment a person

Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki treats the whole person - body, emotions, mind and spirit. The therapist channels the reiki energy by placing hands on the client’s body or off the body within the aura or energetic field. Reiki works by releasing energy patterns such as emotional or physical restrictions held within the body. As the reiki energy is being channeled a client may experience heat or coldness from the therapists hands.
