Thai Massage €85 - €105
Traditional Thai Massage is an ancient healing art which has its roots in the Indian Ayurvedic medicine system. This unique and highly relaxing massage is based on the concept of energy lines (Sen) running through the body and combines elements of acupressure, yoga, reflexology and ayurveda. The working of these Sen lines breaks blockages, stimulates the free flow of energy and helps to restore general well-being. I practise the Northern style of Traditional Thai Massage which is much gentler than the harder Southern or Bangkok style.Traditionally it is a long massage and duration ranges from two to three hours. The massage promotes the free flow of energy, gently stretches and lengthens muscles and slowly opens up tight joints - knees, ankles, wrists and especially hips and shoulders. It also stimulates the functioning of the internal organs, improves blood circulation, detoxifies and balances the hormonal and nervous systems. The massage will leave you feeling highly relaxed, rejuvenated and wonderfully stretched and loosened up.Regular Thai Massage will improve your flexibility and restore your general well-being. During the massage you lie on a mattress wearing loose clothing while I treat your whole body using a flowing sequence of applied pressure to the Sen lines and pressure points, stretches, yoga like postures and massage movements. I give the massage in a meditative mood and work with full awareness, mindfulness and concentration. I am using my bodyweight rather than strength and perform the treatment in rhythm with my breathing - the flowing sequence of movements resembling a "dance" between the giver and the receiver The massage promotes the free flow of energy, gently stretches and lengthens muscles and slowly opens up tight joints - knees, ankles, wrists and especially hips and shoulders. Indian Head Massage up to €45
Indian Head Massage is a highly relaxing massage of the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face. It is based on the ancient system of medicine known as Ayurveda, which has been practised in India for thousands of years. What does the treatment look like? Traditionally it is performed on the seated person but if you wish the massage can also be given on the treatment couch. The duration is one hour but a shorter version of 45 minutes is also available. What are the benefits? It is a highly relaxing and energising massage which clears your mind, decongests your head and eases muscular tension in the upper back, neck, shoulders and scalp. It improves blood circulation to all these areas including the brain and also stimulates the removal of toxins. The brain receives a rich suppy of oxygen which helps to improve your memory and concentration. In India it is believed that regular Indian Head Massage helps to prevent premature baldness and greying! It is the ideal stress busting treatment for the stressed office worker and student. As a Special Treatment I highly recommed an Indian Head Massage followed by Reflexology. What conditions can it help? Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese word and means universal life force energy - the energy which is around us and flows through us and every living being. It is an ancient hands-on healing therapy which addresses body, mind and spirit.I practise the traditional form of Usui Reiki honouring the spiritual lineage of Dr. Mikao Usui. He was a Japanese Christian Minister who rediscovered this ancient buddhist healing art in the early 20th century after years of research and went on to develop it as it is known today. What does the treatment look like?During the treatment you lie on a couch, fully dressed and covered with a blanket and I place my hands on your body in a sequence of positions, thereby acting as a channel for the reiki energy. You are the healer yourself as you draw in reiki to where it is needed - physically, mentally and emotionally. The treatment is a highly relaxing experience which many people describe as "being in the present". You may feel various sensations such as heat, cold or tingling in certain parts of your body or you may simply fall into a "reiki slumber".The Reiki session lasts one hour. What are the benefits?Reiki stimulates your own healing abilities to heal physical ailments and raise your awareness of the underlying causes of disease and pain. It promotes deep relaxation, restores emotional balance, detoxifies the body and also strenghens the immune system. What conditions can it help?Reiki is beneficial for all physical conditions and pains such as: stress, low energy levels, back pain, arthritis, digestive problems, hormonal imbalances, headaches and migraines, insomnia, emotional problems such as anxiety and panic attacks. It is recommended to have 6 -8 treatments at weekly intervals.

Thai Massage from €50
Tradition Thai Massage is and ancient form of therapeutic healing. Its roots are in India where it was brought to Thailand over 2000 years ago by Ayurvedic doctors and Buddhist monks. It combines pressure, energy balancing, stretching and applied yoga exercises. Traditional Thai Foot Massage is a unique and powerful therapy. Using thumbs, hands and a wooden acupressure tool, massage is applied to the legs and feet through rubbing, kneading, stretching and vibration techniques. Pressure points are areas along the “energy lines” which are called “Sen Lines” in Thailand. By focusing on these Sen Lines, we work on Reflex or pressure points on the feet which correspond to various internal organs, through which life, energy, Prana, chi, or Ki flows. It is believed that blockages within the flow will result in pain, illness or disease. By working along the Sen Lines with pressure and by stretching the lines, blocked energy can be released and functions balanced. Tradition Thai Foot Massage can be effective in the relief of various dysfunctions and disease; but it is also a wonderful treatment to promote overall health and to provide a general sense of wellbeing, energy and revival.
MLD - Manual Lymphatic Drainage €60 - €90
What Is Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (Dr. Vodder)? It is a specialised therapy, which is designed to improve the functioning of the lymphatic system. This is primarily achieved through gentle, rhythmical circling movements of the skin, which stimulate the contractions of the lymphatic vessels. Techniques are performed with hands and fingers using a light-touch, which is simulating, gentle, through a wave-like movement. The subtle manual manoeuvres activate lymph and interstitial fluid circulation as well as stimulate the functioning of the immune and parasympathetic nervous systems. A well-functioning lymph system contributes to healthy body tissue and plays an important part in the body's immune system. Who Can Benefit From Manual Lymphatic Drainage? Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage is recommended for pregnant women to help relieve puffy hands and legs, for sports injures such as sprains, fractures, etc., to help with slimming or cleansing diets, for people who suffer from chronic nasal congestion and much more. What Happens In A Treatment? Following an initial consultation where the therapist checks the client’s health and checks for any contraindications, the client will be left to get undressed in private. During the treatment the client will lie on a massage table or plinth and will be fully covered by towels, with only the body part being worked on at the time remaining exposed.
Full Body Massage from €60
- The basic goal of massage therapy is to help the body heal itself and to increase health and well-being - The benefits of massage are both mind and body. It is rare that we take an hour to lie down, close our eyes and just be. - An hours peace and quiet away from ringing phones and demanding children has a definite restorative effect - aids lymphatic drainage, helps to release toxins. - massage will stimulate blood flow and help the release of those feel-good endorphins that make us feel smiley inside. - Touch also conveys a sense of caring, an important component in the healing relationship. - massage can be used to promote general well-being and enhance self-esteem, while boosting the circulatory and immune systems to benefit blood pressure, circulation, muscle tone, digestion, and skin tone.
Shiatsu from €60
Literally translated finger pressure, shiatsu involves comfortable pressure from the thumbs and palms applied to the energy channels and points in the body. Given through loose, comfortable clothing, shiatsu may also include gentle stretches and rotations of the limbs and joints.
