My smoking cessation programme involves three visits to see. Your first session is consultation and preparation. I will explain how the programme works and start you on your preparations to quit smoking. This will involve cutting down your intake and making other changes to your smoking pattern. The following session is your quit day. You will have your last cigarette before you see me and then you will experience your one on one hypnotherapy session. Once that is complete you will leave with a copy of the hypnosis session on C.D which you will listen to once a day for about a week to ten days. Your follow up appointment will then be scheduled. The best way to describe the importance of the repeated listening to the recording is to compare it to an anti-biotic. You do not expect the anti-biotic to make you better when you take the first dose. You take it for the prescribed period with your health returning at the end of the medication. The C.D works in the same manner. Listen to it for the prescribed period of time to maximise your chances of long term smoke freedom. The programme includes a one year back up programme. Quite simply if you have any problems over the following 12 month period you are welcome to come back and see me at no extra charge. What is it?Originating in Polynesia, Lomi Lomi Massage (also known as Aloha or Kahuna massage) is a complete healing system which aims to restore harmony and balance within the body, mind and spirit. The word Lomi means to massage; Lomi Lomi means to massage with intention. This is one of the most important principles behind this beautiful bodywork as the practitioner always works on the body with love, nurturing and healing in mind. Hawaiians have always had a deep connection with nature, in particular with the ocean, and this connection is echoed in Lomi Lomi as the practitioner performs long, continuous, sweeping strokes over the body reminiscent of the ebb and flow of the ocean’s waves. These strokes, performed fluidly and rhythmically with both the hands and forearms, work gently and deeply into the muscles releasing tension, as well as on the blood and lymphatic systems making it a powerful, detoxifying massage. They are also designed to help the body let go of old memories, beliefs and behavioural patterns which, in Hawaiian culture, are believed to be stored in every cell of our bodies. These ideas and thoughts can prevent us from living our lives to their true potential and are capable of causing just as much stress and strain on the body as muscle tension. What to expect from a treatment A brief consultation will be carried out to establish if there are any contraindications to the treatment and then the therapist will leave you to undress. There will be a couple of minutes of chanting music whilst both the client and practitioner set their intention

A glass or bamboo cupping massage is available. A glass cupping massage feels similar to a deep tissue massage and is a great way to get rid of stress and tension or to break down knots formed in overworked muscles.
