2 Root canals and 2 crowns, regular teeth cleaning. Pros: Excellent online reviews to date. Very friendly and courteous staff from dentists to all staff. Clean environment with 1 resident Orthodontist, 1 Endodontist, and 1 Implantologist. Not sure if periodontal service available. I presume the anesthesiologist service is subcontracted on as needed basis, as is an operating theater? Competitive pricing within the mid-price points compared to other clinics. Cons: No same day crown available as they do not have their own crown production lab. Next day is the earliest availability which requires overnight stay. No dental hygienist and dental cleaning is performed by an orthodontist. The work was somewhat rushed and uncomfortable. Room for improvement or hire a hygienist specialist. The dental assistants seemed less experienced and less aware of the patient’s discomfort. Readily apologises but repeatedly creates discomfort. Have to be told to stop. I think more training and experience will provide a great overall quality of service. There is NO pressure applied to have additional and or unnecessary procedures done and no incessant offer to go for more expensive Zirconium crowns that many clinics do. The dentists seldom gets involved with these tactics. Often promoted/pushed by the sales or clinic manager. The price list is not published online nor displayed in clinic. There is 4% commission service charge when using credit card. Not sure on the checks. Cash can be problematic when cost exceeds US$9,999 without currency declaration over amount which may possibly put the patient on the US customs inspection list for all future visits. Aside from clinic’s manager and dentists, the staff’s English is limited. An opportunity for patient that are non or less fluent in Spanish to learn some basic Spanish technical terms.

I was looking for clinic in Los Algodones that would repair a broken crown...other large dental clinics wanted to redo 5 crowns, which did not need it. Dr Sephanie Corona did incredible work so that my beautiful smile has been restored. She gave me the choices rather than pushing a high-cost set of treatments. Outstanding, excellent dental clinic.

Lovely practice and more the staff, the Dentist (Dr Eddie) was so polite and he was on top of everything, making sure I was feeling comfortable and happy with the treatment. I will recommend him ALWAYS. Best hands around to put my mouth. TOP Dentist.

I posted this on Facebook to share with my friends. It will serve well as my review of Fine Quality Dental. I'm currently in Yuma, AZ for the winter. I had a fractured tooth pulled in October by my dentist in Dansville, NY. She told me a three-unit bridge (1 full pontic and 2 anchor crowns) would cost a little over $3000. I declined because I knew I could have it done in Los Algodones, Mexico, a 15-minute drive from Yuma, for much less. Today I had new porcelain fused to a metal permanent bridge installed on my third visit to Fine Quality Dental. The first was an initial consultation/exam and the second was the prep work. My experience with Dr Charles Zuman and his assistants was excellent from beginning to end. I researched his and other clinics in detail prior to selecting him. The bridge and procedure are as good as could be obtained in the US. Its total cost was $750. If Dr Zuman practised in my home area I would switch to him as my dentist even if he charged American prices for regular services. If any of you are facing expensive dental work there are places outside the US where you can get equal quality work for less than a third of the cost.
