Hi, I came for a gastric sleeve here to Irmet Hospital. I always tried to loose weight and just so I decided to have this where approximately 85 percent of my stomach was removed. Really I had concerns going to a foreign country for an operation but I was treated like a Queen everything they promise you is true. I was met at the airport picked up and brought here even when the kitchen didnt have orange juice they somehow went out and bought me it. If you are considering a surgery here the Surgeon is gentle kind speaks english and Serenay organized all perfectly for me.

My Mother had a new knee implant, after we were let down by our first choice. The treatment and care was fantastic, well worth the money compared with the prices in the rest of Europe. All the food was homemade made to a high standard which is really important when you are in Hospital.

Bruno Sgromo was excellent and 2 days after surgery I have little more than discomfort. With a BMI of <40 the SG was definitely the way to go, mainly because it allows all of the alimentary canal to be used. My hope is that my diabetes, hypertension and double knee replacement will benefit hugely by weight loss and I enter a new phase of my life with much optimism. I was very impressed with Bruno Sgromo from the outset and his stats show that he is an excellent young surgeon doing plenty of procedures. The Manor hospital is very good, it is efficient and well run. I was disappointed not to meet the dietician in hospital (this normally happens), but I was well prepared before hand and the advice given was suffice.
