From the start of my very first enquiry, I received excellent advice and support, upon My arrival at the air port i was greeted and taken to the hospital. Communication was simple as most speak good English and are very understanding, the room was as you would expect from a hospital, very clean and everything you need. Dr Umut Riza Gunduz is a compassionate and skilled surgeon and I can not fault the care he provided. From the initial consultation to my aftercare following surgery. Dr Umut speaks English and tries his best to explain the process and answers any questions or queries you may have with professionalism and care. The nurses at Termessos are empathetic and highly skilled. I had zero pain from cannulation, to the bloods to incision care. They are a friendly and exceptionally hard working team. The hospital is big and spacious. The private room exceeded my expectations. All this was possible thanks to CatchLife Obesity. Tunahan was my coordinator and no question went unanswered he was available on hand at the drop of a text and call for any queries I had. Tunahan is incredibly informative, helpful and courteous and he made sure everything ran smoothly from the airport transport to my discharge. Arina at CatchLife was my field coordinator she was incredibly supportive and put me at ease through my tests and surgery. She has the biggest heart and instantly makes you feel you have known her a life time. Arina made sure I had everything I needed along with her colleague Wemma. Wemma greeted me at the airport with the friendliest welcome and the driver was so helpful. I had a truly exceptional experience with JFS Clinic in Izmir and could not be more grateful for the care and service I received. From the outset, the communication was seamless. Illy who communicated with me via WhatsApp, was incredibly supportive, always available, and checked in regularly with kindness and professionalism that made me feel so well looked after, even from a distance. My surgeon was attentive, compassionate and truly listened to what I wanted, delivering results that exceeded my expectations while making me feel safe and understood throughout the process. A special thank you to kaan my assistant during my time in Izmir, who accompanied me to all appointments and check-ups. His presence was both reassuring and invaluable. He has been a kind , friendly and helpful guide throughout the journey. The logistics were also exceptional: luxury transportation for all journeys during my time in Turkey and the hotel arranged by JFS Clinic was clean , comfortable, and well-located as well as fantastic staff. If I HAD to pick one tiny negative, it would be that the hotel didn’t have a pool. However , to be honest, I was far too busy recovering in bed and this didn’t affect me at all. The only person slightly disappointed was my friend who came along to help me , who packed a swimsuit with high hopes of relaxing on a lilo by the pool! This experience has not only given me physical results I’m thrilled with, but it has also been emotionally reassuring thanks to the professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness of the entire JFS team. Where do I even start... The BEST experience I've ever had in regards to anything medical. From the initial first contact right up until this day.. 2 months post op everything has been absolutely amazing. No pressure at all when conversations were had, where other clinics can be on the pushy side. I contacted BG in January through a recommendation of a friend after searching a few different ones and from the first couple of messages I knew this was the right decision. The amount of information given, step by step, day by day information of what was going to happen was incredible. When I enquired, I was given all the time I needed to make a decision, allowed me time to confirm with my workplace and once confirmed sorted pretty much EVERYTHING! It was such a smooth journey from start to finish and I have honestly never been happier and more grateful to find two amazing ladies to help me kickstart my journey. My surgeon at the hospital, Serhat Buldur was incredible, answered any questions, made me feel at ease and comfortable. The hotel staff were out of this world and the hotel was like a dream. If you're thinking about any surgery with this company, I would honestly 100% recommend.

In October 2024, I had a gastric mini-bypass. Before the operation weight was 105kg; today, 18 months later, I weigh 63kg. I have no regrets whatsoever; the treatment from beginning to end, including the aftercare, was second to none. From Afef, the coordinator, Dr Tahir, the surgeon (and professor), to the whole of the medical care team that looked after me during my stay. 18 months later, I went back for dental treatment with one of the partner clinics. Again, the treatment was superb, very efficient with attention to detail. Honest consultations, not just 'sales'. I have to go back in October for the 2nd and final part of my dental work, but I honestly can't recommend them highly enough. Very responsive to any queries, both before and after.

I have had the best services in this hospital. As a foreigner, I do not know the Turkish Language but a lady, Azra, from the hospital staff not only helped us in translation with the doctor and other staff but also guided us on every stage. I am really thankful to Miss Azra for her great support. The hospital is very neat and clean. All staff members are very humble and cooperative.

I had a gastric sleeve procedure here in 2024, and Aysha organized everything so all I had to do was pack and book my flight. She even helped me arrange the best flight times. Everything was exceptionally well-organized, professional, and friendly. I stayed in a very comfortable family room. After my surgery, I wanted to freshen up my hair, and Aysha kindly took me to a local hair salon. It was such a relief to have someone there to take care of me. From the moment I met my transfer driver, I felt at ease. They were so nice and the transfer was quick and easy. Upon arrival at the clinic, I saw my room and had a thorough discussion about everything with the staff. The doctor I met with was down-to-earth and kind, which helped me feel relaxed. I underwent all the necessary pre-surgery tests including blood tests, X-rays, ultrasound, and other checks. The next day, I had my surgery, and the nursing team provided excellent care. Aysha, the health coordinator, was always just a message away for any support I needed. My recovery was surprisingly quick. I was up and walking around, visiting the shopping centre just two days after surgery. I also had a delightful visit with the dietician, who was not only lovely but also very funny. She provided me with a comprehensive eating and self-care plan for the next year. Before leaving, I received all the medications necessary for my recovery at home and medical letters from my doctors back home. The clinic is conveniently located about an hour from Istanbul Airport, and the transfer was quick. The town itself is pleasant, and the clinic is truly 5-star — very clean, and comfortable, and my room was cleaned daily. Overall, I received 5-star accommodation and care at this clinic and would highly recommend it and the doctor if you're considering surgery. Aysha will take care of everything for you. I feel fantastic now and am looking forward to seeing the results over the next year. Thank you all so much.
