My first visit I just felt so at ease and comfortableCaroline, Dublin, 27 11 19

I went to Wendy when I have to have sleep issues and I found her approach was amazing. I felt so comfortable opening up and telling her honestly what was on my mind and I feel this was needed in order to get the help I needed and get my sleep back on track. Wendy is very professional and has an amazing ability to explain and give excellent advice. She is so good at what she does. My first visit I just felt so at ease and comfortable, the setting in the hotel is perfect. I would highly recommend Wendy to anyone that is going through a tough time personally, at work or whatever the issue may be, Wendy gave me skills that I have no doubt help me in my life going forward, thank you.

People seek therapy for many different issues such as Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Panic Attacks, Loss, Bereavement or Addiction issues. The whole time I was with David during Counselling I felt at easeAnon, Ireland, 11 09 16

So it's taken me a while to write this review. I'm not a very "wordy" person and I was afraid I wouldn't do David justice. It's hard to write concisely what brought me to him in the first place. Let's just say I have been alone in my marriage for a long time without knowing it and something happened in my life which made me realise I needed to talk to a third party to get some help/advice to hopefully change my situation. David is not the first counsellor I have seen. I have seen 2-3 others over the past 5-6 years all about a variance of the same problem which is my marriage and trying to improve it. First up I only had 2 sessions with David. Not because I didn't want more but because I live overseas and saw him when I was home visiting family. I am his only international client! Ha! I am now back overseas as I write this. I went to my first session anxious and emotional. I left the session feeling hopeful. Through letting me speak and asking me a series of questions he concluded I was suffering from mild anxiety and moderate depression. I admit I was surprised at the depression bit but it actually made sense. He used some analogies to describe me which were spot on but I never realised. It was comforting for someone to understand, to get me, to tell me it didn't need to be this way, to offer helpful advice. The whole time I was with David I felt at ease. He didn't judge me. He gave me a sense of focus and practical advice which I am slowly putting into practice. I am trying to give myself some me time. At one point he called me "The Roadrunner". I need to slow down and stop trying to please everyone else and look after myself. If mummy isn't happy then no one is. I would urge anyone who is having any issues in their life no matter how big or small to go see David. He can help. He is worth every penny! Thank you David for improving my life.

I went to Renata for quite a while as I really struggled to make a change and to see things differently. I was gradually suffering from anxiety and depression that literally got completely out of hand due to life situations and I could no longer see clearly. It was time to do something and thank goodness I found Renata. She really is amazing, inspirational, and really changed my life with Cognitive behavioural therapy. I have come so far to the point my mindset is completely different and on how I view things in general. I've changed a lot of things in my life positively due to Renata.

CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive therapy seeks to help the client overcome difficulties by identifying and changing there thinking errors, behaviour, and emotions. This involves helping patients develop skills to change beliefs, identifying thinking errors and changing behaviours. Treatment is based the collaboration between the client and the therapist. Once those thoughts have been challenged, your feelings are easier to change. I believe that most people can overcome any emotional disability by ‘Working harder’. So be prepared for some homework, as C.B.T does require you the client to record your progress and challenge your behaviour in between sessions. But it’s not just about working harder; I will help you to ‘work clever’. The techniques of C.B.T will allow you to see your world from a new angle and this often brings relief and a new found ability to change behaviour that up until now, you may have felt would never change.
Young adult Psychotherapy
What is psychotherapy? Psychotherapy is the treatment of psychological, emotional, or behavior disorders through the communications between the client and a therapist. The goal of therapy is to establish a central relationship of trust in which the client or patient can feel free to express personal thoughts and emotions and thus gain insight into his condition and generally share in the healing power of words. (Britannica) Will it work for me? Many people feel a great deal of benefit from psychotherapy, some even after comparatively few meetings. Like any other treatment or life experience, psychotherapy may not be suitable for everyone. Each individual has to make up their own mind about whether therapy is helpful for them. Clinical experience shows that if you are motivated and set yourself realistic goals, psychotherapy is likely to be of benefit. How long will it take? The length of treatment will be determined by what you are offered following assessment. How often are the sessions? Most psychotherapy is once weekly, although sometimes client’s circumstances won’t allow for this, so an alternative arrangement will be made. How long does each session last? Individual psychotherapy sessions normally last fifty minutes. How much does it cost? A one on one session costs E85.00. What benefit should I feel afterwards? Research has shown that psychotherapy is effective in reducing symptoms, improving relationships and self esteem. However, as each person is an individual it is difficult to generalize at the beginning as to which benefits a person may feel. The exploration and the journey is often as important as the goal. Does it usually work? A great deal of research has been done which shows C.B.T to be effective. However, it only works as a catalyst with the person undergoing treatment. This means that in order for therapy to be effective, the "work" is not done to you - but by you and with you.Can I stop if I feel its not working? It is always possible to leav

CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy €70 - €90
What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy? Cognitive Behavioural Therapy has been the most widely researched therapy. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that involves addressing a person’s problematic thinking styles and behaviors. It is based on the idea that how we think (cognition), how we feel (emotion), and how we act (behaviour) all interact together. Specifically, our thoughts determine our feelings and our behavior. Therefore, negative thoughts can cause us distress and result in problems. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy helps people to develop alternative viewpoints in order to tackle their problems. Developing alternative viewpoints is the cornerstone of the CBT principle that there is always more than one way of seeing things and therefore a person chooses their own viewpoint. This type of therapy has been found to be helpful in: AnxietyPanic attackDepressionAcrophobia and other phobiasSocial phobiasBulimiaObsessive compulsive disorderPost traumatic stress disorderStressRelationship problems When we change the way we think for the better, this in turn, contributes to how we view and react to situations around us. It also helps to bring new clarity of thought to help make better decisions for ourselves and others.
Individual Psychotherapy €90 - €120
Personal therapy is a way in which an individual can address any issue in their lives that is causing them distress. Each person, in their own unique way, has the potential to overcome their present difficulties. Working regularly with a trained therapist in a safe and non judgmental environment can provide a setting in which someone  can engage constructively with their struggle and discover a more creative way of living with less emotional baggage to hold them back.
