I felt like he was very flexible and chose the best way possible to help me deal with my problemsCormac, Ireland, 15 02 24

I would highly recommend Allan. It says on his website that he undertakes loads of extra training and I think that came across in our sessions. I felt like he was very flexible and chose the best way possible to help me deal with my problems. Having stopped sessions for now, I know his for is always open. Thanks very much Allan!

Life can be difficult at times.  Life events such as bereavement, divorce or job losses can cause you to become anxious or depressed.  You may have experienced trauma in your past which is still causing you pain today. Perhaps you are coping with a loved one's addiction or other mental illness.  When life is challenging it can feel as if you are just existing from one crisis to the next.  It takes courage to admit you are struggling and need help to cope. Talking to friends can help but sometimes you might need something more.  Family and friends can struggle to remain objective in the face of your pain and distress. Talking through your difficulties with a trusted therapist in a confidential, non-judgemental setting allows you the space to gain a clearer understanding and acceptance of yourself and helps you to make changes and decisions that enrich your life. My practice is located in Sallins, Co. Kildare where I offer one-to-one therapy with individuals aged 18 and over. I have day time and evening sessions strictly by appointment only.

It was simple and logical which is how I like to do things in lifePaul, Ireland, 26 08 24

Very happy with the CBT service with Justine. It was simple and logical which is how I like to do things in life. I learned many tools which is what I wanted from CBT to help with stress. But I gained more than I expected, like understanding my belief systems that were “conditioned’ over my lifetime. I learned about neural science of how my brain worked to cause stress and the stress hormones. This was very interesting to understand and I liked the easy approach of how Justine explained this and applied it to my life issues and things going on for me. Every week I applied something new to learn and practice in my day to get to where I wanted, which was to reduce my work stress but I have ended up reducing all stress in my life so that I am rarely triggered any more. Justine is very friendly and professional.

Maria is welcoming, warm and every session feels very worthwhile.Chloe, Ireland, 07 10 24

Maria is welcoming, and warm and every session feels very worthwhile. Not only does she offer sound advice but she also helps you to make your own decisions, which may have seemed overly daunting before starting counselling. Her rates are very affordable and she always asks if you would like to book another session rather than assuming. I attended Maria's clinic for relationship issues, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression. I very much plan to continue with Maria until I start to feel a lot better about myself

Truly genuine and I felt real empathy at all times from himRory, Ireland, 17 08 20

In Q1 of 2020, I had multiple counselling sessions with Mr Aidan Lakes. I had previously been to two different counsellors over the years and I can genuinely say with all my heart that I got the most benefit from my talks with Aidan. I am always a little nervous when I go for counselling for the first time but Aidan very quickly made me feel at ease and created a non-judgemental environment to discuss any matters I was dealing with. Aidan is truly genuine and I felt real empathy at all times from him. Aidan is an excellent listener and he used his very keen emotional intelligence and counselling skills to help me process a lot of pain and issues I was dealing with. A number of months of passed since I have last talked with Aidan and I still find myself reverting back to the conversations we had to help process any matters I am dealing with on a day to day basis. I cannot recommend Aidan highly enough and I will be forever grateful for everything he has done for me. Thank you, Aidan.
