Very happy with the visit, Brian's great friendly, professional, and I felt very safe and comfortable. Had heat treatment for back pain excellent value, choose clinic by location.

I have been dealing with chronic pain on my neck and shoulders for years; through these years I've tried all sorts of physiotherapy treatments that dealt with the pain for a while, but it always came back.

About 4 months ago I found The Cottage Clinic and this TECAR theraphy (completely unknown to me at that point). I was sceptical at first but thank God I gave it a go! TECAR has been a game changer for me as I not only feel the pain relief but I am experiencing a true healing and deep stretching of my muscles and areas affected.

Brian's kindness and commitment to me as a patient have also gone a long way in my healing path. He combines this treatment with traditional massages and additional techniques and his way of explaining all the details of the treatment also help prevent future injures. I'm thankful I found him and would 100% recommend him.

Cannot recommend Brian of The Cottage Clinic enough! I went in with really bad knee pain at the start of a weight loss program that required an hour’s walk every day. I could barely go up the stairs at home at that stage. 12 weeks on and after regular treatment from Brian, I am walking well over an hour a day and I totally forget the pain some days! Brian is very thorough, knowledgeable and explains the treatment in depth at the start. Anyone with pain should give it a go. Thank you, Brian.

Have been availing of the TECAR Therapy over the past 6 months. I have found it an excellent preventative therapy for a long term lower back problem. After the first couple of sessions I noticed that the problem area was gaining strength and resilience, something I hadn’t experienced with tradition physiotherapy treatments in the past.

The treatments are further enhanced by Brian’s empathic approach, which adds greatly to the overall wellness experienced from the session. Would highly recommend Brian and the cottage clinic .

I damaged my cruciate ligaments in work incident in 2019 and attended a different physio at the time at least once weekly, sometimes twice weekly for almost 6 months, before the Covid issue stopped all treatments. I continued with some exercises recommended by that physio, and wore a very restrictive brace support on the knee for day to day physical activity. It never healed properly, but became manageable, until a 2nd incident in late March 2023.

I was recommended to try Brian's TECAR treatment by some of the local GAA players who had used his treatments, and I attended first time on 28th March. After just 1 session, I couldn't believe the relief and difference in the pain levels, or lack thereof.

I attended on a total of 5 sessions over 3 weeks, last time today 20th April, and I have no pain, no discomfort and full movement in the knee. I do house removals every day, so my job is very physical, and I'm working full time, no issues with knee at all.

I had no prior knowledge of Brian's treatments, no idea what TECAR was about or how it worked, but the results are fantastic and in only 5 visits, no recurring joint exercising or strength work. If I had only known it existed when original incident occurred, I would have been completely recovered in a fraction of the time, and saved both a fortune on 'regular' physio sessions and a very restrictive (expensive) knee brace.

I can't recommend Brian and his TECAR treatment enough. Thank you Brian for your time and patience in explaining the whole treatment to me as it proceeded.

I got in contact with the cottage clinic about a pain on the inside of my elbow. It's been bothering me for a good while, but the past week it got unbearable. After talking to Brian we decided to try Tecar Therapy.

I was a bit sceptical at first because I never heard of it, but decided to try it. I'm glad I did, after one session I had full movement back in my elbow and the pain was gone. I still really can't believe it. I couldn't recommend the cottage clinic enough. Nice, clean modern clinic and Brian was a pleasure to deal with.

I made an appointment with Brian for NMT on a couple of reoccurring injuries (knee & shoulder). Had a few sessions following this, including dry needle treatment, all of which really helped my recovery. Brian is very knowledgeable, very friendly and gives excellent advice.

I recently went back for TECAR therapy, a new non-invasive treatment, that really worked wonders on my super tight thigh and hamstring.
I would definitely recommend Brian for any treatments.

Coming into Christmas (2022) I was struggling with chronic pain as a result of issues with SI Joint pain. Movement was difficult, and the pain was a mix of consistent dull ache in my lower back and left hip area; with the odd spasm being triggered. It was very draining.

I undertook treatment twice during the week between Christmas and New Years with Brian, who applied TECAR Therapy - this is something Brian is set-up to do - and the results were great! The TECAR treatment resulted in both relief from the chronic pain as well as the stiffness in movement. It also reduced my need for anti-inflammation/pain killers.

I would highly recommend this therapy and the treatment by Brian to anyone suffering in a similar fashion. The relief was almost immediate; the difference between before and after the session was impressive.

I went to Brian a year ago with a neck injury I picked up in the gym. After 3 sessions which included physical therapy, kinesiology and dry needling, I was back to normal and haven’t had an issue since. Following the great results I had, I brought my daughter to see him with a shoulder injury and like myself, she has been pain free ever since. I would 100% recommend Brian and if the need arises. I would definitely return to his clinic.

I had reason to attend this clinic with 3 different injuries. Treatment was second to none. Sorted my injuries each time. Couldn't recommend this clinic highly enough. Excellent treatment, very reasonable. You won't be disappointed.

Brian was very knowledgeable and his passion and experience for Sport was evident from the start of the session. Brian’s explanation of treatment and the injury was excellent. Brian also gave me some exercises to help prevent the issue from happening again in the future. The Cottage Clinic was spotlessly clean and nothing was a problem. Brian took his time to explain everything.

Hi I had a very tight calf muscle when I attended the cottage clinic. Brian worked on it for 30 mins. Have to say it felt really loose afterwards and was back training two days later. Clinic is spotless and a real relaxing air about the place. Also very good value. Your not rushed out of the place either.

I’ve being getting treatment from Brian “Mono” for the last 2 years, I wouldn’t be able to play football without the excellent treatment Brian provides. I highly recommend him. A sound man providing excellent treatment.
