I travelled to Istanbul with my daughter for her iLASIK surgery at Risus Clinic, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt confident and reassured. Violet was absolutely perfect—she was so attentive and personally involved in every step, ensuring that both of us were well taken care of throughout the process. She even attended the surgery to ensure there were no communication issues during the operation. Her kindness and helpfulness truly made a difference. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to answer all our questions in detail, which made us feel completely at ease. After my daughter’s successful surgery, I decided to have a consultation for my own vision issues. I’ve been dealing with hypermetropia (farsightedness) for years and had been considering an IOL lens operation. However, Dr. Öncel recommended LASIK surgery instead, and I’m so glad I trusted his expertise. Both my daughter and I are thrilled with the results. The professionalism, care, and attention we received at Risus Clinic were exceptional, and the outcomes have exceeded our expectations. I found my treatment at the clinic to be first class the nurses were lovely and very helpful. I could find no faults at all with the care they provided.

I had lens replacement surgery with Associate Professor of ophthalmology Dr Derda Oder at BHT clinic in Istanbul. From the initial contact with him to the end he was very down to earth, transparent, friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. I had researched and contacted many surgeons. He suggested lenses that would be suitable for each eye and on examining me when I got there, decided one eye needed a different lens which was £150 less. He immediately informed me. He is an excellent surgeon and Hasan, his lovely, capable interpreter was there for me at all times. All the staff are very professional and attentive. The surgery went well and the aftercare was very good. On my last visit, Dr Derda said to contact them at any time if I have any questions or concerns, gave me lifetime lens passports and told me any time I was in Turkey I was to come and have a free assessment. Dr Derda is also very well priced and I’m absolutely thrilled to throw away glasses that I’ve been wearing for many decades. I highly recommend Dr Derda and his team. You can see his work on his Instagram page, including various eye surgeries. He has been involved in many studies in the past and ongoing.

The experience was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and I was able to get the best care and support possible. The pain was kept at a minimum after the operation. I really had a wonderful time much better than I would have back home in England.

I arrived home in the UK after my breast uplift surgery in KCM clinic on Tuesday. I spent 7 nights in Poland for this surgery with 3 of those nights as a patient in KCM. I have to firstly thank Dr Kierzynka, you are incredible at your work, even if I did drive you crazy changing my mind about implants, but I’m truly glad I followed your advice, after all, you are super educated and professional! You made me feel at ease, and you listened to me, as it is daunting being away from home in another country and having surgery for the first time, you have given me my confidence back, and for that, I will be forever grateful to you. Dr Chabab, the anaesthesiologist, thank you for making me laugh 😂 right before my surgery. You don’t realise how much that helped. I was so scared going into the theatre, but you took my mind off it by making jokes. You’re amazing at your job! I felt completely safe having you put me to sleep. 😄 Karina, this is for you, you are an angel quite literally. I felt I had a friend with me, you are such a lovely person. You lived in the UK for 18 years, so this was quite comforting knowing I had you to translate if I ever needed you to. You really care about your patients experience and always make sure we are ok. KCM is extremely lucky to have you on their team and you definitely deserve recognition. Kim Adam’s, from day one of enquiring about the surgery, you have been amazing, always at the end of the phone with reassurance and help. Thank you so much for making this process so easy and straightforward, I felt I was in safe hands the entire time and I am glad I found you back when I was looking into different clinics. Nurse Anna, you are the loveliest nurse I have ever known! Truly a gentle and kind woman and I can see why you are a Nurse, keep being you! ☺️ and thank you for helping with my dressing changes. Unfortunately, I could not remember each member of staff name that I had the pleasure of meeting, but you are all absolutely phenomenal. You all work very hard, and you all go above and beyond to make sure everything runs like clockwork. I feel the lovely girls who are nurse assistants, they deserve so much recognition, they are so polite and always smiling. 😊 To KCM drivers, thank you for picking us up from the airport and dropping us off safely and comfortably! 😆 My experience was more than I imagined, I was so nervous going but after all of the tests that KCM had done on me, I knew I was in good health and fit enough for surgery they are so thorough! If you are considering surgery abroad, I couldn’t recommend KCM enough. Going to Turkey was never on my radar, but from recommendations from people about Poland, I can see why people travel here. Surgery in the UK is very expensive but KCM made it possible. Thank you all so much ❤️

Hello - this week is one year since my treatment and I would like to share the experience. Everything from start to finish was made easy, professional and super friendly. I opened my first eye in the morning with clear vision, two days later the next. The only glasses I wear now are RayBans and that’s just to look cool. From the first conversation with Dr. BAhadir's assistant, Djidda, the whole process was explained to us. The cost of the surgery was exceptional. It included our 6-day stay at a lovely hotel with breakfast, our transport to and from the airport and the hospital, plus the medication for our 6 day stay. Dr Bahadir is an excellent surgeon and his staff are lovely. My husband and I had worn glasses for 25 years. Now we have a 20/20 vision. We are so free and happy. We highly recommend this service

I have toiled with the idea of lens replacement surgery for the past few years. I attended a consultation at a clinic in Glasgow and was quoted £7000 but after reading a lot of poor reviews, I decided against it. I did my research on lens replacement surgery in Antalya and was drawn to Dr Emir Dogan, and seeing as the reviews and price were so affordable, I made contact. The initial contact is through WhatsApp (the same goes for any work you'll get done in Turkey) which made me feel a bit uneasy at first but I knew I was in good hands from the minute I arrived in Antalya. Dr Dogan, appointed an English speaking colleague who drove me to and from the hospital and stayed with me to translate and ensure I was comfortable and understood everything. The hospital is immaculate and modern, I was given a lovely relaxing room to myself which I used pre and post-surgery. The staff were so attentive, one of the girls literally held my hand on my way surgery. Dr Dogan was amazing, I knew I was in good hands from the minute I met him. The surgery was painless and took around 20 minutes, he spoke me through the whole process and constantly reassured me and checked to make sure I was feeling ok throughout the procedure. I remember after the surgery, I stood up and he cleaned my eyes exactly the way you'd expect a caring family member to look after you. This small but attentive gesture made me feel safe. I returned to have my second eye done and the experience was exactly the same, the whole team are so nice. I would recommend Dr Dogan to anyone who is considering lens replacement surgery. My eyesight is pretty much perfect and I love life without my specs.

I came from Finland for surgery with the doctor. As the surgery would be 1/5 of the price of what I would have to pay in in my own home country. I visited the doctor and he examined me and took the time to do all the proper tests to see if I needed the surgery or not. Turns out I had been misdiagnosed and there was no need for the surgery after all!! Though I did not need surgery, I can 100% recommend the doctor since he could have very easily said oh yeah sure let's do it, and just take my money! Overall the doctor was very professional and I could see that he had a lot of expertise and accumulated knowledge and it felt I could trust him. More than that the doctor’s assistant is amazing, speaks very good English, and provided clear and informed communication along the process. Very thankful for their efforts.

It was a great pleasure to meet Dr Ebru. She is a not only a wonderful ophthalmologist but also a compassionate and happy soul. She took great care and very professionally performed cataract surgery on my both eyes. She is very dedicated to her work and patients and answered every concern in detail before surgery. After surgery, she examined my eyes couple of times and was always available to answer any questions. She was genuinely interested in my health and well-being. Awesome team of health providers. The premises are equipped with multiple floors of state of art equipment just for the preliminary eye exam and diagnostic all the way to the sophisticated surgical level. On day one my ( International clinical coordinator ) walked me through the whole process, educating me in regards to this matter such as selecting my HD Alcon trifocal lenses, through the whole clinical procedure, coordinating my trip from the USA to Antalya and translating for me in English ’til the day I was fully dismissed by the Dr. Upon discharge he even walked me out to help me get my Taxi, he is just a kind awesome soul !! fully attentive and knowledgeable about the details pertaining to my operation (Natural Lense exchange and Cataract removal ), it took only three short roundtrips to the Clinic to complete, and little did I know I was rejuvenated with a High Definition close, mid, and far-range vision, in less than 30 min procedure, it sounds intimidating but for them, this is the daily routine. Best decision ever in my life, I strongly recommend this clinic and its whole team. A +++++

The whole experience has been top class. I chose Praga Medica as they were competitive in pricing and because the reviews online were positive. Daniela was most helpful in communications lead up to the actual treatment sessions, clear and concise. I found all the staff at NeoVize polite and professional. A translator was provided however this was not really needed. The clinic is very easy to find, a two minute walk from the metro station in Prague. The actual surgery (I had monofocal lens replacement) was less than ten minutes for each eye (performed on separate days) and was painless. I have to say that I am astounded by the results and can see brilliantly for the first time in my life. I cannot recommend Praga Medica highly enough. The surgery has been life changing!
