I travelled to Istanbul with my daughter for her iLASIK surgery at Risus Clinic, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt confident and reassured. After my daughter’s successful surgery, I decided to have a consultation for my own vision issues. I’ve been dealing with hypermetropia (farsightedness) for years and had been considering an IOL lens operation. However, Dr. Öncel recommended LASIK surgery instead, and I’m so glad I trusted his expertise. Both my daughter and I are thrilled with the results. I would like to thank Dr. Derda Ozer for my surgery and follow-up appointment, as well as Hassan and Zainab from the MDO team. I am especially grateful to Hassan, who served as my host, translating everything for me and taking care of me throughout the process—from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the hospital. I will always be thankful to them for my procedure and for being such excellent hosts. I was well taken care of by Dr. Derda Ozer, and the hospital was well-equipped, with all the necessary facilities. My surgery went well, and on the same day, I was transferred to my hotel. The following day, I had a follow-up appointment. Hassan took me on a tour of Istanbul, visiting Aya Sofya, the Sultanahmet area, and the Blue Mosque. I am very thankful to him for being a great host; he speaks excellent English, explains everything clearly, and is a genuinely positive person, and treated me like an older brother. Regarding my surgery, everything went according to plan like we talked about before my visit. As for the results, I am partially satisfied and still recovering, waiting for the final outcome related to my squint eye. I remain in communication with the MDO team and have been advised to give it three months, as recovery times can vary. I may consider future courses of action later on. If I achieve an 80% correction of my squint, I will be very happy. After my surgery, my eye still shows a slight deviation, and the size of my operated eye is still smaller than that of the other eye. Overall, I am satisfied with the surgery and remain hopeful for the best results. I would definitely recommend MDO, as they are a genuine clinic, and the hospital they use for surgeries has all the necessary facilities and is based in Istanbul. They are a trustworthy company that takes great care of their patients, and without a doubt, they are neither fake nor fraudulent. The staff and team are very honest and generous.

Hello - this week is one year since my treatment and I would like to share the experience. Everything from start to finish was made easy, professional and super friendly. I opened my first eye in the morning with clear vision, two days later the next. The only glasses I wear now are RayBans and that’s just to look cool. Went for a lasik surgery and the proce is unbelievably cheaper than UK but you get superb results.

Just had lens treatment for my eyes with unbelievable results the next day Dr Eser was a fantastic surgeon with no pain whatsoever and a really fast recovery. Using eye drops as they tell you then speedy recovery do not need my glasses anymore. Barak is the one who looks after you when you get there great man and caring and the clinic is spotless NHS you can stick it this clinic is on a different level trust if you want eye lenses or any eye surgery go to Orbit Clinic you will not regret it
