I underwent septorhinoplasty with Mr Waseem Saeed in 2025 to correct a deviated septum so I could breathe properly, and also to improve the appearance and overall feel of my nose. I was initially recommended Mr Saeed by a friend and former patient, and I’m so glad I followed that recommendation. Before choosing private surgery, I explored having the procedure through the NHS. Unfortunately, I was advised that while they could correct the deviated septum, they would not address the appearance of my nose. I was also told there was a likelihood of being left with bumps along the bridge, as this can be common when septum surgery is not combined with rhinoplasty. This led me to seek a more comprehensive approach. From the very first consultation, Mr Saeed was kind, patient, and attentive. He listened carefully to my concerns and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. His explanations were clear, and the drawings he used were particularly helpful in helping me understand both the functional and aesthetic aspects of the surgery. I also learned that the tip of my nose was not properly connected to the septum, something I had no idea about, and he corrected this as well. I had several consultations with Mr Saeed before deciding to proceed, along with numerous follow-up appointments afterwards, which made me feel reassured and fully supported throughout the entire process. I would also like to specifically mention Tracey, Mr Saeed’s secretary, who was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, efficient, and always responsive, making the administrative side of everything feel effortless. The staff at Wilmslow Hospital were equally fantastic, professional, caring, and reassuring, and they made the experience on the day of surgery and during the overnight stay as comfortable as possible. I truly couldn’t be happier with the results. I love my nose now, both how it looks and how it feels. Most importantly, being able to breathe properly has genuinely changed my life. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Saeed, his team, and Wilmslow Hospital to anyone considering septorhinoplasty or nasal surgery.

Professor Mackay-Hart provided me with an in-depth explanation of the potential risks and benefits of the abdominoplasty surgery I had enquired about. On admission, the staff were excellent and thorough as well as being very professional. Post-op night 1 was the first time (3 previous ops) I experienced care and pain relief in advance of needing it. I genuinely believe the care that first night was key in my recovery. Although major surgery I was up and self care the next day and home the day after. I took the advice given on pain management and really kept on top of it that first week and I was mobile and coping quite well. After week 1 it was plain sailing, keeping mobile. At week 4, my wound had a very small fat necrosis develop but quick action with antibiotics and follow up with the outpatient clinic has got me through that minor hurdle. I watched and read so many negative articles about this surgery and how much of a struggle it can be post-op. For me, the key to really getting through it so easily was listening to the clear advice, excellent pain management in the early days and having the procedure carried out by an excellent surgeon. Nothing ever goes 100% to plan but following advice and really being positive about the outcome I think was key in me writing this positive review and saying to anyone considering this type of surgery to ignore the online stuff and just go with a good quality surgeon and facility.

I would like to thank Darren Lewis for my first operation removing a mole on the side of my right breast operation went really well, but my results came back cancer melanoma stage 1A. So I have had another operation 16th March 2023 with Darren Lewis a wider operation to check that this has not spread. Waiting for results staying positive.
