We offer  one-to-one & couples/relationship counselling. Our service is confidential* and discreet and is provided primarily to adults and adolescents  {with some appointments available for children}  presenting with personal issues including (but not limited to) anxiety, stress, grief, depression, suicide ideation, life-skills and sexual identity. *{Some limitations to confidentiality apply and will be discussed with each client during their first session}Both long and short term therapy is offered depending on the individual client's specific needs. Sessions last between 50 minutes and one hour {depending on the therapist}. Early morning and evening appointments are offered (subject to availability).Our offices are in Malahide village {close to the train station}Unlike some therapists and clinical practices we NEVER ask for money up front or ask you to sign a contract for a fixed number of sessions.Please note: Our practice does not offer a 'Psychological Assessment' services: please search under 'Psychologist' or 'Psychiatrist' if you are seeking any form of assessment.

I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space for clients to unpack the sources of their distress. I offer a flexible approach to therapy, with both online and in-person 1 to 1 sessions available to adults over 18, from my room at Malahide Counselling & Psychotherapy. I also offer a free 15 minute phone or online consultation to allow clients the opportunity to meet me before deciding if they wish to proceed with counselling.  I qualified in 2024 and am now practicing as a fully accredited psychotherapist.  I work from a humanistic and integrative perspective, which brings together a variety of skills and different perspectives; this approach enables me to work with each Client in a highly individual way. I have experience working with clients suffering with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, peri-natal trauma, chronic illness, bullying in the workforce and relational trauma. I have a particular interest in the field of ADHD, and I work clinically with people affected by ADHD in many different ways - whether that is a parent, child, partner or sibling of a person with ADHD, and I also work psychotherapeutically with adults experiencing symptoms of ADHD; this was the focus of my MA research project. I work with clients in both a long-term and short-term capacity, as each individual requires.
