Owen Smith - Crystallise Psychotherapy & Counselling - Owen Smith (he/him) Accredited Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist | Relationship Therapist LGBTQ+ Affirming | Trauma-Informed Creating a calm, collaborative space

Owen Smith - Crystallise Psychotherapy & Counselling

15 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2, D02 Y765
“There’s a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in.” — Leonard Cohen It’s not always easy to ask for help. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin — and that’s okay. Therapy doesn’t ask you to have it all figured out. It offers a space where the noise can soften and something steadier can begin to take shape. Welcome to Crystallise Psychotherapy® — a calm, inclusive space for thoughtful, trauma-informed therapy. I’m Owen Smith (he/him), an accredited humanistic and integrative psychotherapist and CORU-registered social worker. I offer online and in-person therapy to adults across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, working with individuals, couples, and multi-partnered relationships. Clients come to therapy for many different reasons - relationship issues, anxiety, shame, grief, infidelity, identity questions, out of control or compulsive sexual behaviour (CSB), or a sense that something just isn’t quite right. You don’t need to arrive with it all figured out. You’re welcome just as you are. My approach is LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, and trauma-informed. I work relationally, with a focus on safety, emotional depth, and collaborative exploration. Whether you're navigating complex relationship dynamics, exploring parts of your identity, or working through something painful from the past, therapy can offer a steady and respectful space to begin loosening the weight of what’s been carried. I draw from a range of approaches in

Connecting Mindfully Counselling - Connecting Mindfully Counselling Dublin

Connecting Mindfully Counselling

56a Marian Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 24, D14HX74
When something in your life is not how you'd like it to be, or when you're looking for help and support for something that you're going through; perhaps a life event, a particular concern or maybe problems with relationships, at home, in school or at work. Maybe you are experiencing feelings of anxiety, frustration, fear, sadness or other emotions. Stress can be a part of this. Counselling can help you to better understand what might be going on for you and to find ways to effectively manage feelings, thoughts or worries. My experience is that clients come to counselling because they want something in their life to be different. I appreciate that it's often not easy to come to counselling. I welcome clients with warmth and openness and a non-judgemental listening ear. I am a Person-Centred Therapist and I use ACT, CBT and Choice Theory to help clients work through an issue or to help them shine a new light on an area of their life that is not currently how they would like it to be. Sometimes what we need is to be listened to and heard. Coming to see a therapist is a brave step towards getting support. Allowing yourself to talk about and express what you are experiencing might be what you need at this time. We often don't 'press pause' in our lives, and we often don't give ourselves the time or space to check in with ourselves. Individual Psychotherapy €90 - €120
Personal therapy is a way in which an individual can address any issue in their lives that is causing them distress. Each person, in their own unique way, has the potential to overcome their present difficulties. Working regularly with a trained therapist in a safe and non judgmental environment can provide a setting in which someone  can engage constructively with their struggle and discover a more creative way of living with less emotional baggage to hold them back.
CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy €70 - €90
What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy? Cognitive Behavioural Therapy has been the most widely researched therapy. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that involves addressing a person’s problematic thinking styles and behaviors. It is based on the idea that how we think (cognition), how we feel (emotion), and how we act (behaviour) all interact together. Specifically, our thoughts determine our feelings and our behavior. Therefore, negative thoughts can cause us distress and result in problems. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy helps people to develop alternative viewpoints in order to tackle their problems. Developing alternative viewpoints is the cornerstone of the CBT principle that there is always more than one way of seeing things and therefore a person chooses their own viewpoint. This type of therapy has been found to be helpful in: AnxietyPanic attackDepressionAcrophobia and other phobiasSocial phobiasBulimiaObsessive compulsive disorderPost traumatic stress disorderStressRelationship problems When we change the way we think for the better, this in turn, contributes to how we view and react to situations around us. It also helps to bring new clarity of thought to help make better decisions for ourselves and others.

From start to finish she talked us through the processJennifer, Ireland, 20 04 21

My daughter has just finished a 12-week course of play therapy with Eva and I would rate both the clinic and Eva 5 stars. The clinic is spotlessly clean, with all covid precautions in place, lots of toys and activities available in a bright well thought out environment. Eva the therapist was excellent. From start to finish she talked us through the process and was available to discuss any concerns or questions we had. My daughter made fantastic progress and she achieved all of the goals we had originally set out with the therapist at the planning meeting. I cannot speak highly enough of Eva and all of the tools she has equipped my child with.

Helen Anglim - Counselling and Psychotherapy

26/27 MacCurtain Street, Cork
Hi. I'm an IACP-accredited counsellor & psychotherapist offering in-person sessions in Cork City and online sessions via Zoom or Phone. I work with adults (individuals and couples) looking for support in areas such as bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, stress and illness, abuse, self-harm, relationships, maternal mental health (depression during/post-pregnancy, miscarriage, pregnancy loss) and any other life changes that can emerge and create uncertainty in life.  I believe that everyone should be able to benefit from confidential and non-judgemental support when life feels difficult. I work in a client-centred, humanistic and integrative way: I value my clients' own experience of life and together we explore more fulfilling and resourceful ways of being in the world. I draw on different techniques in my work, but essentially my role is to support and help empower the people I work with. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, along with a Professional Certificate in CBT and I am committed to ongoing professional learning and development. Please feel welcome to get in touch if you think I can be of support.
