Primary service is the provision of a one to one session in Stress Management while also including the therapeutic benefits of Meditation and Mindfulness along with an understanding of appropriate C.B.T. {Cognitive Behavioural Therapy} techniques. The sessions are between 3 and 8 weeks depending on the exact nature of the Stress condition. In a recent U.K. Government Medical report, it was estimated that approximately 58 to 63 per cent of all patients attending their G.P. were attending due to a stress related condition. Many physical conditions can be as a result of underlying stress.
As a qualified Therapist in Counselling, psychology, Therapeutic Mindfulness, Stress Management and as a Registered Meditation Teacher, Registered Trainer and qualified also in Reiki and Seichem and Tai Chi. I approach each client from a Holistic { The whole Person - not just the mind } understanding and also tailor the sessions to be appropriate to each client. The main focus is on Stress Management using either or both Mindfulness and Relaxation techniques and a combination of other approaches where appropriate and in relation to each clients needs.
I also Offering Training, Mentoring and coaching to individuals and groups, to learn skills to enable the development of a learned self - help technique to enhance ones quality of life through Mindfulness , Meditation , Mindful movement - Based on Tai Chi and related elements of Cognitive Behaviour Principles. Offering Training at one - one coaching level. In Groups at "Drop in" classes. Or on 6 or 8 week training courses.
I also offer in house training to company's and community based groups having undertaken a "Stress Review". Many employees and management staff are under severe pressure from time to time due to various factors. This can have a knock on effect particularly in relation to output and production as a direct result of employees being absent due to illness and so forth, also in relation to employee contentment and relationships, which again can have an adverse effect on the goals of the organisation. In house training is available on request and can vary from 1 hour sessions - monthly, for example, or a Morning or afternoon once off etc., The skills once learned, will be retained and just like learning to swim or ride a bicycle, can be put into practice by each individual after learning them, on an on going basis.
The training is a "Cut to the chase" approach and deals directly with what can be learned easily and in a short time frame, to enable clients to start benefiting almost immediately. Even some of the most basic and straightforward techniques, once learned, can be applied and benefitted from after just one session and can be built on over time.
I have been practicing and Training - Teaching in Meditation, Mindfulness and Mindful Movement for many years now and combine Stress reducing guided meditations, elements of C.B.T. Relaxation exercises and relaxation techniques that are easily absorbed and understood. I am a qualified Registered Trainer and have Diplomas in Stress Management, Counselling, Psychology, Therapy and Social Studies. I also have training in several areas of Meditation and Mindfulness. I am a member of the International Association Of Meditation teachers and am fully insured as a Meditation, Mindfulness Trainer.
