I can honestly say it was one of the best healthcare decisions I have ever made. Dr Salazar used advanced CBCT imaging to identify the true cause of my problem, took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and gave me answers after months of uncertainty. After reviewing my case, he explained that my tooth could not be saved and recommended an extraction followed by a dental implant after the area had completely healed. One of the main reasons I chose Dr Salazar's clinic over other dental offices in Nuevo Progreso is that it is a speciality dental centre. Instead of having to visit multiple offices, patients can receive specialised dental care, including endodontic treatment, dental implants, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, along with comprehensive dental services, all in one location. Everything is incredibly convenient. My consultation, imaging, treatment, medications, and follow-up care were all handled in one place, and having a pharmacy in the same building made it easy to pick up my prescriptions immediately after my procedure.
On July 3, I returned for my follow-up appointment to make sure my extraction site was healing properly. The staff showed me my new imaging, confirmed that my infection had completely resolved, and were very pleased with how well everything was healing. During the same visit, I also brought my oldest daughter for a second opinion after another dental office had recommended an expensive root canal and crown. The staff performed a thorough examination, took new X-rays, and after reviewing everything, they explained that she did not need the recommended treatment. Instead, they recommended only a deep cleaning. As a parent, that honesty meant everything to me. It showed me that this office recommends treatment because it is truly needed, not simply because it is available. That honesty earned my family's trust. The entire staff was gentle, professional, and compassionate throughout every visit. Every procedure was explained beforehand; I was never in unnecessary pain, and I never felt rushed. The cleanings and preventive care were performed with great attention to detail under Dr Salazar's direction, and everyone made sure we were comfortable throughout our appointments. After every procedure, someone from the office personally reached out to make sure I was healing well and to see if I had any questions. They also followed up after my daughter's appointment to make sure she was doing well. That level of care is something I rarely experience.
The pricing has always been transparent, fair, and very affordable. Never once did I feel pressured into unnecessary treatment, and every recommendation was explained professionally. As someone who travelled from the United States specifically for treatment, I can confidently say the quality of care, professionalism, honesty, convenience, and affordability exceeded every expectation I had. Because of our experience, my family plans to continue returning to Dr Salazar for our dental care. I returned this week for my husband, two daughters, and myself to get our seasonal cleanings from the office. Our teeth feel and look so clean and healthy. We also felt they were very careful to make us comfortable the entire will be returning soon for my seasonal cleaning. My parents and brother are also interested in becoming patients after seeing the excellent care my family have received over the past two months. I will also be returning in September for my dental implant consultation.
