I would never go anywhere else for this kind of workLinda, US, 09 10 19

As usual the best service in town. Easy walk and quiet location. Found out what my problem was and corrected it with a painless root canal and new crowns. No pain even after the novocaine has long worn off. I would never go anywhere else for this kind of work. You will not be disappointed.

I just can't put a price on the worth of the workGloria, US, 10 09 18

Like most, I was looking for affordable dental work. I needed extensive work done, but even with insurance, I knew that it was going to be to expensive. I heard about affordable work being done in Progresso, Mexico so I researched it. I filled out a request and had lots of clinics reaching out to me, but only two called me. The first was not Pena Reyna. It was actually another dentists who quoted me about 700 bucks to have two bridges done and some crowns. I spoke with him and even made an appointment, but then Irma from Pena Reyna reached out to me by phone. She spoke English really well since she is actually from San Antonio furthermore she sent me pictures of before and afters and a picture of some crowns they had just made a client. After speaking to her, her husband called (owner of the clinic) and explained that he could not give me an estimate because he wasn't sure how much actual work I was going to need. He said I needed an x-ray or recent dental records to know for sure, but assured me his prices were fair. So I decided to go there first, they did an x-ray, found out what I needed, gave me a price and explained everything in detail. The price was way more than I planned to spend, 5k to be exact, but I needed so much work and I knew that. I ended up having about 6 root canals, two bridges, an extraction, about 10 porcelain crowns and removal of silver filling which were replaced with white resin. In all reality, it was still so much cheaper than I would have payed anywhere in the U.S. and I just can't put a price on the worth of the work. The staff was nothing short of amazing. Irma met me in town, I followed her to the parking lot just outside of the border, and she walked in with me. She told me what to bring in advance, so I was prepared. The entire staff worked together like none ever. Because my visit was so short and I had lots of infection (hence the root canals), they gave me injections of antibiotics over the course of the few days I was there and even gave me some to take with me. I'm a nurse, so it's okay. They checked up on me daily to make sure I got to my hotel safe, even to make sure I got home safe and that I was feeling okay. I mentioned that I still had pain on my left side of the face and they quickly sent me more medication. I think they came in about 2 days. I can go on and on, but I think I have gotten my message across. The location is easy to get to, the staff was amazing, the price was affordable and so worth it! If your thinking of getting work done, be careful who you go with, it's true that you get what you pay for and I'm glad I didn't have to find that out the hard way. Good luck all! Excellent overall service!

Acrylic Dentures $450 - $500
Acrylic Dentures are like the $50 cameras that you can pick up at a supermarket. They take pictures, but obviously, you wont find professional photographers carrying them. If you want a cheap, quick and easy snapshot, they are OK. If you are taking pictures to impress people, then perhaps, you should think of getting a better camera. Acrylic Dentures are probably the oldest type of dentures in the market. They are still useful for people who are not demanding and budget conscious. We sometimes make acrylic dentures as temporary dentures before implant restoration. They are also good as immediate dentures as they are more easily relined and adjusted than other types of dentures. The problem with acrylic is that its not very strong compared to metal-based dentures and other newer materials on the market. A weaker material means greater thickness is required. Hence, acrylic dentures tend to be thick and bulky. Acrylic is a stable material. However, it does undergo some dimensional changes during processing. Hence, acrylic dentures tend nogt to fit so well. Quite a bit of adjustment is often needed when the dentist issues the final denture. Most acrylic partial dentures need metal clasps to help them hold on to the remaining teeth. These are usually stainless steel wires. If they are visible, they may affect aesthetics. Full acrylic dentures are often without metal as there are no more teeth left for the denture to grip on. So how do these dentures stay in the mouth? The upper full denture works by sealing itself into the upper jaw like a cup. The lower full denture is a lot harder to seal. There is also a much narrower area that the denture can rest on because of the tongue. For most people, lower full

Full acrylic dentures, made right in our own labortory! Our in house laboratory tech has 27 yrs of experience in making dentures & the rest of our lab work.Complete dentures can be either "conventional" or "immediate." Made after the teeth have been removed and the gum tissue has begun to heal, a conventional denture is ready for placement in the mouth about 8 to 12 weeks after the teeth have been removed. Unlike conventional dentures, immediate dentures are made in advance and can be positioned as soon as the teeth are removed. As a result, the wearer does not have to be without teeth during the healing period. However, bones and gums shrink over time, especially during the healing period following tooth removal. Therefore a disadvantage of immediate dentures compared with conventional dentures is that they require more adjustments to fit properly during the healing process and generally should only be considered a temporary solution until conventional dentures can be made.Complete dentures can be either "conventional" or "immediate."
