I never dreamed I could have a smile like thisJolene, Czech Republic, 17 12 22

I just had 20 crowns put in and I am very happy with everything about the experience. Dr Antonio did a fantastic job, he is truly an artist. I never dreamed I could have a smile like this. I found this clinic by reading reviews and ratings and am really happy with the care and service I received there. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Zirconia Crown $350 - $450
Now, the Zirconia manufacturers have worked on new crowns that are custom milled from solid blocks of Zirconia and baked at extremely high temperatures so that the completed crown is pretty near unbreakable. Zirconia is 100% biocompatible. It is inert, and the body does not reject zirconia so you don’t have to worry about allergies or adverse reactions. Zirconia Crowns have several advantages of both traditional Gold Crowns and Porcelain. Although Gold Crowns are well tolerated, last long and are a good technical choice, many consumers much prefer to have a natural effect that blends into the overall smile. Many also dont want metal in their mouths. In most cases the choice will be between a Porcelain Crown and a Zirconia Crown. Zirconia Crowns have several advantages of standard Porcelain crowns. Strength and Longevity: Zirconia is virtually indestructible whereas Porcelain crowns are prone to chipping. Crowns have a lifetime of around 10 years. Zirconia should last a lifetime. Cosmetic: Have you ever seen people with a large unsightly black line above their gums? Up until recently most crowns are Porcelain which is Fused to a Metal base. Over time, the metal begins to show more and more and the restoration can look opaque and monochromatic, with the tell tale dark grey line at the crown join. The Zirconia Crowns not only look more translucent, but are much stronger than the Porcelain fused to the Metal posts. The Zirconia crowns are milled from a single block of crystal and can be up to five times stronger than a porcelain / metal fuse. Less tooth Removal: In cases where their is not much room for porcelain build up - for example if an tooth abutment is already quite bulky, a Zirconia Crown can be used because if provides more strength in less volume than a porcelain crown.
Dental Crowns $350 - $450
A dental crown is a cap-like restoration used to cover a damaged tooth. Crowns can give support to misshapen or badly broken teeth and permanently replace missing teeth to complete a smile or improve a bite pattern. They may be molded from metal, ceramic, plastics, or combinations of all three. They are cemented in place and coated to make them more natural looking. Historically, a variety of materials have been used as tooth replacements. The ancient Egyptians used animal teeth and pieces of bone as primitive replacement materials. More recently, artificial teeth have been fabricated from substances such as ivory, porcelain, and even platinum. With modern technology, high quality tooth replacements can be made from synthetic plastic resins, ceramic composites, and lightweight metal alloys.
Permanent Crown $350 - $450
Permanent crowns can be made from all metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal, all resin, or all ceramic. Metals used in crowns include gold alloy, other alloys (for example, palladium) or a base-metal alloy (for example, nickel or chromium). Compared with other crown types, less tooth structure needs to be removed with metal crowns, and tooth wear to opposing teeth is kept to a minimum. Metal crowns withstand biting and chewing forces well and probably last the longest in terms of wear down. Also, metal crowns rarely chip or break. The metallic color is the main drawback. Metal crowns are a good choice for out-of-sight molars. Porcelain-fused-to-metal dental crowns can be color matched to your adjacent teeth (unlike the metallic crowns). However, more wearing to the opposing teeth occurs with this crown type compared with metal or resin crowns. The crowns porcelain portion can also chip or break off. Next to all-ceramic crowns, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns look most like normal teeth. However, sometimes the metal underlying the crowns porcelain can show through as a dark line, especially at the gum line and even more so if your gums recede. These crowns can be a good choice for front or back teeth. All-resin dental crowns are less expensive than other crown types. However, they wear down over time and are more prone to fractures than porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns. All-ceramic or all-porcelain dental crowns provide the best natural color match than any other crown type and may be more suitable for people with metal allergies. However, they are not as strong as porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and they wear down opposing teeth a little more than metal or resin crowns. All-ceramic crowns are a good choice for front teeth. Temporary versus permanent. Temporary crowns can be made in your dentists office whereas permanent crowns are made in a dental laboratory.

Much to my surprise, it was not as difficult as I thoughtAngelica, US, 01 08 18

I had been wanting a tooth implant for a while and was really hesitant to go to Mexico. After much discussion with my husband, I decided to go. Much to my surprise, it was not as difficult as I thought. We were there with Dr Ramos early one morning, had a 3D x-ray done a few blocks away and confirmed that I was a candidate for the implant. It took about 40 minutes for the whole procedure. I have gone for a 2 week follow up for removal of stitches and will return in 4 months for the abutment and after that crown. Very happy so far.

I was immensely pleased with the services they offered me at this fantastic clinicHenry, Ottawa, 01 03 18

This clinic had really good reviews, so I chose them for my dental implants. The place was a little out of the way compared to some of the other clinics in the neighborhood (it was on the second floor) and it would have been hard to find had I not been taken there by the hand. I’ve been to a number of clinics in Mexico and this one was exceptionally clean. The dentist was on on time and the appointment went ahead exactly as scheduled. I remember seeing a limited price list online, but I was quoted the real price after they took x-rays of my mouth. The dentist did a wonderful job inserting the implants, but there was something else they managed to do for me that was even more exceptional. A while back I booked an appointment with a different clinic to have crowns done. After they examined me, the dentist there refused to do it. He told me it couldn’t be done, and that it wouldn’t last. When I visited Extreme Makeovers and got their opinion on the crown, they warned me that it might not last for many years (2-4 years perhaps). I decided to go through with it anyway - in the worst case it would cost me 50 bucks per year for the crown, and that’s a great deal in my opinion. We did the procedure and it was a great success. Dr. Cooke also managed to do something else for me. Some time ago I’d had an implant done at a different dental practice and it failed (the site had to be closed and grafted). I asked Dr. Cooke if he's able to do a single-stage implant for me (most dentists are hesitant to go forth with this because the failure rate is high). The doctor agreed to do the immediate load implant. It’s been two months now, and the implant is still fine. The likelihood of failure is pretty remote at this stage of the game. I also had a deep cleaning here, which was fairly well done, even though it hurt a little bit. The job was thorough and he performed the deep clean in two stages. When we were done with the first session, Dr. Cooke told me, “Now your gums are bleeding. You’ll come back in two days and we’ll finish the job.” When I returned, we completed the cleaning. I was immensely pleased with the services they offered me at this fantastic clinic. I managed to get work done here that other dentists couldn’t do for me. It was a great experience. Such superb workmanship!

I can't say enough about the dentist, I never had or felt pain or discomfortL, US, 07 10 22

I needed quite a bit of dental work and it was more than I could afford in Texas so saw this dentist who I saw had some good reviews and went in to see what it would cost to do all the work I needed done. Talked with dentist Paulina who by the way was amazing I don't speak Spanish but Rick who helps everyone coming in does very good after consulting with Paulina. We decided needed to pull 2 teeth, and do a bone Graft and after put in a bridge. We did all that including putting a crown and a root canal for me and my wife at a cost of 40percent of what my dentist in Texas wanted. I can't say enough about Paulina, I never had or felt pain or discomfort. Best dentist I've experienced with my teeth and I've experienced a few.
