I had my liposuction for my lower and upper abdomen, flanks and chest. I stayed in Istanbul for four nights and five days. Istanbul itself is nice to visit and see different cultures, trying some nice foods, shisha and get value for your money in shops. Well value for money was great for my liposuction too. Put it in this way you will save just a lot for the quality of work done by the surgeon. One thing dont forget guys risks is everywhere, doesn't matter you are in UK or not. Why paying ridiculously a high price for the same treatment received in UK? Choice is yours, you decide. And cheap price doesn't necessarily refer to poor products or services. Richard from Welfare Abroad is excellent, he answered all my questions and queries and he arranged everything just everything for me. I even had a conference call while i was in the UK with Richard and the Doctor. Driver was waiting already outside when i came out from Airport and dropped me to my pre-booked hotel. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful and easy communication. The Surgeon Dr Selahattin Tulunay office is just the round the corner. I had a host called Ulas and he did such a great job too. He was my main point of contact and he was with me for the rest of my appointment and meeting before and after surgery. He is so kind and gentle and helpful too. He took me everywhere, booked taxi to Hospital and back to the hotel etc. On my first day, Ulas came to the hotel and we went to see the doctor. I had my same day examination with the surgeon. What a great human being he is.Dr Selahattin Tulunay, very famous, professional and gentleman. He doesn't speak that much English and that's why Ulas my host was there to translate and answer all my concerns. On the second day i had my surgery and stayed in the hospital for that night. My surgery was around 11am and before that i was following the pre-operation plan. I don't recall anything what went in the surgery because i was put to sleep and when i woke up i was in my hospital bed. The surgeon came to see me during the night and gave me my medications and got a reassuring gesture and smile on his face. The surgery went so great that i could see such a biiiiiiig change in myself on the next day. Its just Wow when i first see my sight into the mirror. I was wearing a corset already and couldn't feel the excess fat around my tummy anymore. Ulas said " you looking a lot slimmer already" lol. Nurses were very helpful but again the barrier of communication was an issue. So to make things easy i was using my translation app. And it works. Wifi can be an issue, there are wifi everywhere but not good strength and when you are used to fast broadband, you feel a bit annoyed. Well i cut off with the internet world for most of my times and just enjoyed my stay and recovery. It makes so big difference. I was sceptical carrying money on me while travelling from UK to pay for the surgery, you have other option to pay this too but there will be an extra charge of 15% which i wasn't that happy about it. Maybe they could improve or do better in that. On my fourth day, myself and Ulas went to see the surgeon for my last appointment and explain what he did and how to look after myself in the following weeks to come. Overall i am extremely happy with the service with Welfare Abroad and would definitely recommend them to others.
Ohh i miss something, its not related to Welfare abroad. The hotel where i stayed was okay, close to everything but the main problem is the traffic at night.Thousand of yellow taxi cars. Specially Friday and Saturday night. I don't why but they kept on horning and tooting all night long, "agrrr Taksi drivers are bored and thought they liked to horn and toot to entertain themselves i guess" The worst night was on the Saturday night to Sunday Morning. Well i just couldn't sleep at all. Never mind was coming back to UK on that day.
I know its quite long to read all this and im sorry but i am just making clear for some out there who need that little advice and guidance and take the challenge.
Success depends on the things you gave up to achieve it. "Mine was my fats" lol
God bless
