Breast Reduction Istanbul

After researching various clinics with which to have my surgery, I chose to have my breast reduction with Dr Cagatay. Mainly the attention I received from the patient coordinator was very timely and the reviews were also reassuring. Keeping in mind that I had already been to Istanbul for a face and neck lift about 13 years before, so I knew what to expect. About 3 days before my surgery, I asked if we could also do a deep plane face and neck lift. The day of the surgery, I met with the anesthesiologist who said the length of the procedure would be too long and we would only be able to do the breast reduction. While I was disappointed, I also want to thank the staff of Vanity for putting my health first. I am so grateful. Now on to the surgery, the staff, Dr Cagatay, Zeynep and of course, Murat. Everyone was very professional, informative and constantly attentive. I felt I was in very good hands and confident with the process from start to finish. I am one week out from surgery but I can already see that the breast reduction is going to be so good and the facial fat transfers- wow! Can’t wait for the fat to settle in and see the final results from my breast reduction. I highly recommend and will be going back next year to do the deep plane and facelift. Very, very happy!

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The initial contact & quote were informative & Asli answered all my questions in a prompt manner. I had a video consultation with the doctor, which I wasn’t expecting to happen. When I arrived in Istanbul, I was picked up by taxi from the airport & taken straight to Erdem Hospital, where I had blood tests, a chest X-ray & ECG as soon as I arrived, & it was all done within about 20 minutes. On the morning of the operation, I had ‘before’ pictures taken before meeting the Dr who explained what would happen. I had a full tummy tuck, 360 body lift, breast uplift & reduction & an arm lift. My surgery was extensive & I was under anaesthetic for about 9 hours. It was a difficult surgery because of such extensive prior weight loss, leaving excessive loose skin. I was quite fortunate & didn’t have much pain afterwards. I had IV antibiotics & painkillers for a few days whilst I was still in the hospital. My wounds were reviewed every day & dressings were changed daily also. The ward nurses were fantastic also. They were very responsive & came when I pushed the call button. They were also timely with any planned medication. I moved to the hotel 3 days after surgery & was given painkillers & antibiotics to take out, along with some topical medicine for wounds when I went home, some oil & some laxative medicine. A nurse came to visit at the hotel to change dressings; contact was maintained throughout by Asli to check how I was. I received a full report of the surgery that took place, along with all of my test results. It was all in Turkish (as expected) & I used Google Translate. I had follow-up care from the hospital & went back for a final check-up with the Dr & had a planned lymphatic drainage massage. In all, the experience was extremely positive & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Dr or the team. In fact, I’ve already booked to come back for further procedures.

I had been dealing with back pain for a long time because of my breasts, and it was also something that bothered me a lot aesthetically. However, the idea of surgery really scared me since I have a very low pain tolerance. But from the very first day, my doctor was so attentive, calm, and reassuring that all my fears disappeared. I was not very satisfied with the result of my breast reduction and the offered kindly to help me with a revision and I expect to get what I want this second time. Only hospital rate is on me, the dr.’s Work is included in the amount I already paid. It is a real guarantee and I am so thankful. Was difficult to me to talk about my problem but they were just pleased to help.
