About Support Counselling Services - Dun Laoghaire
Fiona Smith. I hold an Honours Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy, a post graduate Diploma in Clinical Supervision and I am accredited with both IAHIP and IACP. I am also registered with the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP).
My core training is person-centered and psychodynamic. I also have training in other approaches from the more practical such as CBT, mindfulness and stress management to the more philosophical such as existential therapy.
I have a private practice in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin allowing me to offer services for people living in South Dublin and Wicklow. I provide counselling and psychotherapy for adults on a one-to-one basis.
I have extensive experience working with both men and women in a wide range of psychological and emotional issues including (but not limited to):
Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, Suicidal Thoughts, Stress, Relationships, Separation, Divorce, Self-esteem, Identity, Sexuality, LGBT Issues, Adult Survivors of Child Abuse (emotional, physical, sexual), Trauma, Bereavement, Loss, Health Issues, Women’s Issues, Personal Development, and Work Related issues.
