Lumina Psychotherapy is located on the main street of Dun Laoghaire beside St. Michael’s Hospital. We are a group of experienced therapists working with children, teenagers and adults to manage depression, anxiety, stress, anger, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, phobias, addictions, complicated grief, bullying, work issues, career / life changes, relationships and sexual difficulties. Elaine runs a private clinic in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. Also trained in Diabetes Counselling Elaine runs a clinic in the Diabetes Ireland Care Centre in Santry, Dublin 9.  With an understanding of the importance of confidentiality, the therapy rooms are both comfortable and private. Elaine sees both individuals and couples.  Her practice is open late three evenings a week and Elaine also offers online appointments via Skype, FaceTime or Hangouts.  As a qualified ACP divorce coach and an associated counsellor with Separated, Elaine also helps individuals and couples pre, during and post separation to ensure a peaceful as possible transition through a difficult time.  "Qualified fourteen years I work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, stress in the workplace, sexual issues, relationship difficulties and parenting issues.   Life can be both wonderful and complex and there will be times when we all need to reach out for help.  Sometimes those closest to us are too close to help us with our personal struggles and that is when an objective professional ear is needed.  All sessions are totally confidential and last for one hour.   It is important to find a therapist that is right for you.
