About Valley Psychotherapy And Counselling
Valley Psychotherapy and Counselling is based in two Dublin City Centre Locations; at 46 Mountjoy Square South, Dublin 1; and at 62 Mount Street Lower, Dublin 2. There, you'll work with Robbie who is a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist holding a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Master in Arts in Psychotherapy from the Dublin Business School. Working with individual clients, Robbie believes in facilitating a non-judgemental relationship within the therapeutic space in which the client is accepted, listened to, feels safe and is understood. With several years of working in the community sector Robbie has significant experience of working in supportive and enabling roles with a diversity of individuals and groups. Prior to that, he worked for a number of years in the commercial sector in safety, training, and personal development roles. Robbie also holds an MBS in Safety and Health at Work and a BA in Humanities and has undertaken STORM Self Harm Mitigation and Suicide Prevention training.
Robbie has experience working with clients facing challenges in the areas of; Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, Trauma, Sexual and Physical Abuse, Abuse, Suicidal Ideation, Identity, Relationships with onesself and others, Loss & Bereavement, General Counselling.
Robbie's approach to Counselling and Psychotherapy is one underpinned by Psychodynamic integrated with Gestalt, Existential, Integrative Humanistic, and Person Centred approaches.
