For almost 6 months I had persistent pain in my ribs after a bad fall from a ladder - also problems with my back, which worried me greatly as I have always been active and done lots of exercises. She is so knowledgeable - also very nice - and after just 2 sessions she resolved the problem with my ribs (which I honestly thought would be there for life). Thank you, Dr Sam. I've been a fan of chiropractice since my original back injury decades ago. Once one has a 'bad back', one has it for life. Therefore, it's a problem that needs repeated episodes of treatment over time. Amongst the features that make me so grateful to chiropractice is that (a) it brings a degree of relief almost instantly; sometimes the problem is corrected almost instantly, within a single session; and (b) it is such a focalized treatment that relieves pain in areas that no other modality can reach.
I was hospitalised due to my back problem and was advised I needed physiotherapy, I tried getting in touch with the NHS but couldn't get an appointment, I was recommended to Stefan who is based in Eckington and I'm so glad I went to him. He has helped me enormously and I am back to being fully functional. He is very professional and knows his stuff and worked wonders for me of which I'm more than grateful for, he has a good rapport with his clients and makes you feel at ease and does his job well. The pain has completely disappeared. I approached Olwen with a very painful right shoulder and arm. The pain was travelling all the way down my inner and outer arm to my wrist, I couldn't lift anything at all and it was also stopping me from sleeping at night. My GP said it was a trapped nerve and that it would get better over time and to take painkillers until it did. I tried this for six weeks and was no better. Olwen was recommended to me and I'm so glad that I went to see her. Within three treatments, my shoulder and arm were far less painful. Each appointment involved only a few minutes of adjustment and now, after just eight sessions, I am completely pain-free and have a full range of movement. I can't recommend this service highly enough.
