PhysioCentre

Rating from 6 Reviews Exceptionally talented physiotherapistSimone, Ireland, 11 Mar 14

I was extremely pleased with my treatment, and returned about 4 times, I feel such huge relief from pain and numbness in my fingers due to bulging discs in my neck. My son has also been after he broke his elbow and to have surgery. He is fourteen and wanted to get back to rugby where he broke his arm. The treatments he received from Kathy and Cira were not only beneficial to his arm, but they also gave him the confidence and guidance needed for a full recovery. My Daughter, Megan, has also been as she hurt her neck while skiing. Kathy treated her neck and also gave her advice on a few positive changes she could make on a daily basis to give her more energy. Kathy referred Megan to another medical person for further treatments outside the physio spectrum. This I found impressive as the patient's full recovery is Kathy's ultimate goal, and if treatment is needed outside of her clinic, she will refer you to someone who will help you achieve full recovery. I think Kathy Kavanagh is an exceptionally talented physiotherapist and I recommend her to all my customers and friends.

Very good!Donal, Ireland, 10 Mar 14

Hip and Back Pain Excellent treatment for chronic stubborn back and hip pain that other practitioners have been unable to successfully treat. The PhysioCentre takes a full bio-mechanical view of the problem, not just treating the symptom but also the causes. Excellent value.

Rating from 6 Reviews Felt relaxed and well after my treatment.Guida, Dublin, 29 Jul 15

I suffered from depression for many years. He was approachable, explained everything that I asked, and the session was very straight forward. I felt relaxed and well afterward, and It has had a great impact on my life. I find Mr. Anders a very good professional, helpful, easy going, and most of everything, human and honest. I attended at Mr. Anders house. I was apprehensive, but afterward I thought it was as good as. The space is nice and relaxing, and I was back for a next session which felt as good. I will be back to tackle my next rock.

The benefits of PilatesThe top benefits doing of Pilates exercise that people report are that they become stronger, longer, leaner, and more able to do anything with grace and easeimprovements in range of motion, flexibility, circulation, posture, and abdominal strength -- and decreases in back, neck and joint pain.Pilates has boomed in the last two years, at the Dublin Holistic Centre.  The amount of students attending who suffer with poor posture, or back issues predominantly resulting from long term seated jobs with little movement or poor ergonomically designed desks and chairs compounded with stress has really catapulted back pain and neck pain into the main stream. Having seen an Osteopath or Massage Therapist to ease any structural or muscular tensions etc, the next step is in strengthening core back and abdominal muscles to ensure at all times, not just at work, that your posture and core strength is engaged ALL THE TIME, naturally, thus not collapsing when seated.   Once you have completed a 6 week Beginners course, there's no holding back, you will love how much stronger your core feels, and be amazed how far you can grow and push yourselves.  There are students who are in their 50's and 60's doing our classes who easily push themselves into Plank simply by having gained core strength and stability.  DON'T BE SHY, try a Pilates class today, although the secret is in finding a GREAT teacher...

Seapoint Physiotherapy

Rating from 4 Reviews This has given me confidenceDes, Ireland, 28 Mar 17

I had three years of painful movement in upper arm and shoulder, partly due to the side effects of medication. One appointment has produced a considerable improvement. Message, exercises and some helpful insights into lifestyle continue to help this improvement. I chose Seapoint because it is a one person practice; seemed to have the speciality I sought and was well reviewed. Sinead inspires confidence; I found her to be perceptive and took the necessary time to address the issues I had.

I have since regained some sense, of hope and dignity againAnonymous, mullingar, 23 Nov 16

Before I met Sinead ,I had totally given up, had lost all hope of ever regaining any quality of life again.Sinead, invested her time and care, compassion and knowledge, in me,I have since regained some sense, of hope and dignity again.Having had horrific experiences of health care ,before her period in my life. With Sincere thanks James

Rating from 5 Reviews He stuck with me for the whole process!Ian, Ireland, 08 Mar 16

I went to Roy before I had knee surgery. He did a great job of diagnosing the problem, referring me to the proper physician, and then helping me rehab afterward. He stuck with me for the whole process! I chose Roy out of convenience, but I'm very glad I found him. Reasonably priced, dedicated and knowledgable, and spoke to a level I could understand. Finally, he always made time for me (on short notice often). I give him my highest recommendation!

Highly recommendColin, Ireland, 11 Nov 13

I have spent 12 months with tight calves and not able to run more than a few miles, but after a couple of sessions of Dry Needling from Roy, I am back running 3-4 times a week. Highly recommend Roy for knowledge and treatment.

Pearse Street Physiotherapy Clinic

Rating from 2 Reviews Extremely polite and friendlyAnonymous, Ireland, 11 Nov 14

Physiotherapist / Physical Therapist Consultation I went to see Aidan because I had started a fairly rigorous schedule of training for rowing and was having problems with my back and shoulders. The first thing I noticed was the wall of photos and thank you letters from Olympic and National Athletes. There was no waiting time at all and the reception staff were extremely polite and friendly. Aidan isolated the problem and gave me a series of exercises that would help. He also worked on the shoulder to release the tightness. The session lasted 30 minutes. After two weeks of exercises the pain was greatly reduced and I was able to get back to training.

The only Physiotherapist clinic I would ever go to in Dublin.Laura, Ireland, 12 Sep 16

I had a stress injury that I continued to train on (competitive athletics) for weeks and put off going to the physio for ages. Aidan has the best approach to getting athletes back to their normal training. He told me I was not to run but encouraged me to take up swimming, cycling, weights and aqua jogging. He guaranteed me that I would come back stronger, and that is exactly what happened. I was out for two months but barely lost any fitness. Can't recommend him more. Very good value for what you get. The only physio clinic I would ever go to in Dublin.

Rating from 1 Review I am very pleasedOrla, dublin, 04 Feb 15

I am not very familiar with attending a sports therapist and more used to a sports massage which is very different but I am very pleased with the first visit whereby my mind was put to rest as to what the problem could be and I was given useful exercises to follow. Follow up appointment is next week.

SOMAdublin

(01) 901 0176 ext: 81142 12 Brunswick Place, Dublin, 2
Somatic Movement Class / Somatic Exercise Class In a Somatic Exercise Class, you will learn a series of self-care movements to release tight muscles on the front, back and sides of your body. The overall goal is to become more aware of habitual muscle tensions in order to release them (and get rid of them ). The movement sequences are practiced in a slow manner to allow the brain to ‘catch up’ again, always within your individual comfortable range of motion and never pushing into pain. You are retraining your brain to send the correct information to the muscles (relax or contract) to allow for full control and good muscle function. For a one to one class, I will design a series of exercises specifically tailored to your needs. Every client is unique, so we will find the perfect variation of a movement that suits you. In a group class, I will teach with a more general approach while adjusting to each clients profile if possible. Ideally, you start with some Clinical sessions and continue to refine your movement with Somatic Exercise classes. I have trained as a Somatic Exercise Coach under Martha Peterson (Essential Somatics) beginning of 2014 to teach Somatic Movement classes. Clinical Somatic Education Clinical Somatic Education is a powerful one-to-one application of Somatic Education. Done on a wide and low table, the practitioner guides movement and uses different techniques to release stiff muscles and encourage smooth, unrestricted move
