Germaine graduated from University College Dublin in 1994 and initially worked in hospitals in England and Dublin, Ireland. She has extensive experience in the private sector having worked in private practice for 5 years before joining Southside Physiotherapy Clinic in 2009. Germaine is skilled in all areas of musculoskeletal medicine but especially in rehabilitation through exercise. She has undertaken extensive post graduate training in Pilates Instruction and is a member of the internationally recognised Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute (APPI). Germaine has built up a superb reputation for her Pilates Classes, which she individually tailors for each class participant.

She has completed an in MSc Physiotherapy at UCD, specialising in advanced practice of musculoskeletal medicine. Her unique MSc research has investigated the effectiveness of Pilates for management of neck pain. She has experience working with sports teams having travelled as team physiotherapist with the Irish National Basketball team. A Class Two league tennis player, Germaine has a deep affiliation with patients presenting with sports injuries!
