Reflexology is a science that deals with the principles that there are reflex points within the feet and hands that correspond to all glands, organs & structures of the body.Reflexology is a natural, holistic, non-invasive therapy which helps maintain a delicate balance between all the bodies systems.A reflexology practitioner uses light pressure to massage and stimulate the acupressure points on the toes, feet & ankles to release tension, remove energy blockages, disperse accummulations of calcium & uric acid, as well as stimulating blood circulation.This process allows the bodys own ability to heal itself and balance the mind, body & soul, all of which are esential for the maintenance of good health.Many disorders or diseases such as Arthritis, Bronchitis, Eczema, PMS or menstrual problems, depression, insomnia, backache & anxiety.It is estimated that 75% of disease is stress related. If these centres are blocked discomfort & dis-ease set in, causing many physical & emotional imbalances.There are a number of different types of Reiki.
