Linda Harrington the Acupuncturist has a degree in chinese medicine acupuncture, but has also worked within the NHS for over 20 years, on the wards theatres and labour suite, recently completing a reiki course to complement treatments. She is an Operating Department Practitioner and Epiduralist. The fully functional clinic is based on the ground floor at the practitioners home. All equipment is clean sterile and single use only needles are used, so rest assured that cleanliness is a priority.

Colon hydrotherapy (colonics) is a safe, effective method for cleansing the colon of waste material.  The procedure is very simple; the colon is repeatedly flushed with warm filtered water at low pressure which, when released, brings out with it any loose and impacted debris and toxic material.  The water is introduced and released via a small sterile tube inserted into the rectum to a depth of two inches (5cm).   The procedure is not painful or uncomfortable provided that a few basic rules are followed by a competent practitioner.  The procedure itself lasts approximately 45 minutes.

I visited Julie in desperation to help me with my cluster headaches. Never did I know how rare, complicated and severe the condition was before I was diagnosed. The doctors couldn't even help but the neurologists could only help manage my attacks. Just 3 sessions of acupuncture and herbal medicine have improved my condition by 80%. (Im still undergoing treatment and I swear by it) Julie is not only friendly and polite but a professional with an ocean of knowledge on human health and various illnesses and diseases and advising the best treatment for the patient. I came to Hua for accupuncture because she helped me a few years back when I couldn't stand straight after accident to my back. Nothing helped only Hua with accupuncture. After I had 6 sessions I was standing straight and free of pain. It seemed like a miracle. I was recommended accupuncture as the only solution and was I glad I did. Hua was amazing and I've chosen more accupuncture years later for various aches and pains. Very good value. Thank you Hua from the bottom of my heart!

I started with weekly sessions for about 6-8 weeks, based on my preference, as Lyndsey never pressured me regarding the frequency of visits. Now, I simply reach out for a 'top-up' as needed, usually every two weeks. I honestly feel that she has saved me from a very dark and scary place.
