Michelle Flynn is a senior practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine with a special interest in nutrition. She obtained her BSc HONS degree at both Middlesex University, UK & Beijing University, China. The 5 year full time degree programme she undertook is respected as the highest Chinese medical degree. Part of her clinical practice included training in the UK at North Middlesex Hospital , The Whittington Hospital and The Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine and an internship in 2 of Beijing's most reputed hospitals of both western medicine and Chinese medicine; The Xi Yuan Hospital & The Japanese Chinese Friendship Hospital. After graduation in 2006 Michelle was offered a teaching position at the Asante Academy of Chinese medicine where she supervised students through their clinical practice. She also ran the pain clinic and Ante Natal Care Unit at The Whittington Hospital. Michelle has been practicing in her private clinic(s) for over 16 years. I found Nick Birch understood my problem from the start of the appointment, having had a conversation with me beforehand. He took note of the way I was moving and explained the causes, did a thorough bone density scan and gave me a run-down on the meanings of the various measurements on the diagrams. He told me that the way forward would be to have exercises and stretches and as I had been to Sarah on previous occasions to have further physio appointments with her. Later the same day he followed up with a letter to me confirming his analysis and recommended treatment and letting me know the letter would also go to other parties involved, including my GP. I was very heartened by my visit which has given me renewed determination to do my part in improving my condition.

I visited the clinic today for joint and back pain. I was given a thorough consultation and was given a professional opinion and an idea of future treatment. I liked the kind manner in which I was told about my problems/condition and it was delivered in a way I could relate to. I felt at ease asking questions and felt comfortable throughout the visit. Booking was easy and I will definitely be continuing treatment there and highly recommend The Carlton Clinic.
