Hua Shen was amongst the first ever students in China to receive a Masters degree linking both Chinese and Western Medicine, graduating from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine after 7 years study. She was also an acupuncture adviser for foreign students there. In the following years she worked in the Shanghai Tongji University Hospital as a qualified doctor, where she treated a wide variety of conditions using the techniques used in the hospitals in China. Hua Shen has a particular interest in fertility and IVF support and she runs 2 specialist clinics in the Edgbaston and Moseley area, which are convenient for patients from CARE Fertility, Birmingham Women's Hospital and BMI Priory. Many of her patients come for support during IVF and ICSI, whereas others come for help to conceive naturally and for continued support during pregnancy. Hua Shen is also a Zita West Network Affiliated Acupuncturist, meaning she can provide a better service to her clients, and boost their chances of conceiving successfully, both naturally and through IVF. In addition to her specialist clinics, Hua Shen is a Zita West Affiliated Acupuncturist at CARE Fertility Birmingham. I am a graduate of ICOM Acupuncture College, where I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture. I have also studied NLP, Life Coaching, Postural Rehabilitation, Nutrition, Massage and Counselling. Since 1998 I have been administering different life coaching and rehabilitation sessions to London residents. My main aim is to help the people of London to live better and meaningful lives. I coach people on how to improve their lives through simple lifestyle adjustments, such as adopting healthy diets and regular exercise. I use my acupuncture sessions as part of this healing process.
