What is Snap-On Smile?

Snap-On Smile is a cosmetic removable customized arch that is fitted on the teeth of patients who want an instant smile makeover to quickly improve the appearance of their smile. It is usually cheaper than other options. Some dentists also place Snap-On Smile as a temporary smile for patients who are waiting for crowns, veneers or implant restorations to be placed on their teeth. It also serves as an attractive mouth guard to prevent teeth grinding. It takes three weeks to make a Snap-On Smile.

How is the Snap-On Smile procedure performed?

Patients are asked to choose the style and shade of the smile they want on the first visit. The dentist then takes an impression. A thin strong arch is made using resin.  Once the arch is ready, the dentist fits the arch on the existing teeth of the patient.

I booked an emergency appointment for Sunday morning as I been woken by gum pain in my mouth. I wanted to check to make sure it’s nothing serious. Dentist and all staff were very kind and professional. Dentist took X-ray and camera to check is there any infection. I was ok thank god, but he recommended to me to follow up with an appointment for gum specialist and my own GP to run some blood tests in case I don’t have underlying illness that makes my gums sore. I left the clinic confident and clearly happy that everything it’s ok.
