I’ve been attending Merton Dental for about a year, following the failure of an old filling. The treatment was thorough, well explained, and any risks of the procedures were highlighted. I had three old (30yrs!) fillings replaced, and a new one on a chipped tooth, all of which are still going strong now. Before lockdown, I was also attending regular hygienist appointments at the clinic to improve my gum health. Having just been back for a check-up there is a noticeable improvement. Service is always friendly and professional and I feel confident following the team’s advice. Overall I’m very happy I found Merton Dental and would recommend the clinic to all.
I'm having root canal treatment and can not thank Tom enough for being highly professional, gentle and thoroughly meticulous. He has explained everything along the way and taken on board any points raised. What a brilliant dentist!! I've been treated over the years by Su, Minesh, and now Tom and I have 100% confidence in all of them. I love the way that they work as teams and have positive and respectful working relationships with the dental nurses. I would also like to thank Josie for her consistently friendly, informative approach - she is an excellent Practice Manager. Marcia is an incredible hygienist, and in fact, everyone I've met over the last 30 years has been exemplary. I have 100% confidence in everyone and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Practice. On my first visit to the clinic I was greeted by Billy who took me through the booking in experience and was very helpful as was Sarah who made the appointment. Sam and Barbara were my nurses who set me at ease as I was having a tooth extraction and when all was ready I met Dr Shaffie who was so kind and understood my concerns as I take blood thinners. My treatment was quick and I hardly had time to wonder what would happen when the tooth was out! It was pain free and the nurses let me rest while they explained what to do at home they put a compress on my gums so that the bleeding was reduced. A very positive experience.
I was a patient of Andy Kershbaumer 22 years ago and he was brilliant. I fully agree with another reviewer in that I never experienced pain when getting treatment. I am back in Scotland and after two visits stopped going to the dentist as they were vicious. Andy was always friendly and I hope he continues to prosper.
