Dr Shaffie is the founder and Principal Dentist of the family‑run Sandford Implant and Cosmetic Centre and Bexleyheath Dental Practice. He and his family came to the UK in 1998 and, from that base, he has built a modern, compassionate practice that puts patients and families first.

If dental fear has kept you away or you need a long‑term solution for missing teeth, Dr Shaffie offers calm, expert care to restore comfort, function and confidence. He specialises in anxiety‑sensitive dentistry and has been certified in managing dental phobia for more than 15 years. He routinely provides intravenous sedation so nervous patients can receive treatment safely and comfortably.

Dr Shaffie completed a Diploma in Implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons of England (October 2011). He has planned, treated and placed over 7,500 implants and regularly leads complex, multidisciplinary rehabilitations alongside a team of implant specialists. He combines meticulous surgical technique with digital planning and restorative expertise to deliver durable, natural‑looking results tailored to each patient’s goals and budget. Every treatment includes comprehensive aftercare and a clear follow‑up plan.

He keeps his skills up to date with national and international training and holds additional certificates in sedation and facial rejuvenation. Patients describe him as reassuring, thorough and approachable — he always takes the time to explain options and create personalised treatment plans.

Dr. Kat Shaffie is a practitioner, innovator and a connector of health. For over 20 years, she had been honing her skills, graduating with honours in Poland and earning advanced qualifications in the UK—including a Diploma in Implant Dentistry and MSc in Dental Implantology—Dr. Shaffie has trained under world-renowned experts such as Professor Shahram Ghanaati and Dr. Nasha Winters. She is a member of the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health and a CNM Registered Nutritional Therapist.

Today, Dr. Shaffie is more than a dentist—she’s a Biological Dentist and Nutritional Therapist dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the mouth. Her philosophy is simple: oral health and general health are inseparable. At BioHealth Clinic, every treatment is designed to restore balance, prevent disease, and optimize well-being.
