I ran out of affordable options in the United States. The only option left for me here in the States was a 2-year long procedure requiring 3 different surgeons, a hospital stay and $200,000! I had researched what everyone was discussing about Cancún and found the only option that was safe was Cancún Dental Specialist. I admired Dr Irma for what she did as a professor in addition to being an entrepreneur, wife and mother. I made my appointment and my plans. When I arrived in Cancun our transportation to the clinic greeted us and took us there. In the meantime, I had made my husband an appointment since he had about $20,000 to pay in the States when I got back. We were taken back and scans done. I will not lie, I was very scared. Dr Irma and the surgeon Dr Lugo came to give me the news. It was very involved and serious (I was not shocked as I had heard this in the states). I did not have enough bone. I had to have a very invasive surgery that required me having it done at a hospital under general anaesthesia. I was so worried but for some reason, I knew I was in very capable and competent care! The day of the surgery they picked me and my husband up, Dr Lugo and his amazing helper and took us to the hospital and just having them in the vehicle with me calmed my nerves. I was at the hospital a total of 6 hours and they took me back to my hotel after stopping to get my medication for me. I had Zygomatic Implants done and knew I would be in serious shape after. I have had dental work in the US and knew the pain involved after dental work so I was expecting the worst but to my amazement, I was only on pain medication for 31 hours! Since this surgery and recovery of only 6 months and not 2 years like the US dentist had told me I feel very confident in my smile again. That is just my story not my husband's story of multiple implants, root canals and fillings without complications and even he told me that he can smile big again and feels good because 2 of his teeth are back and they look identical to his own! When we went back in 1 year I had them check my children and my daughter had been in pain for 4 years from a bad yet very expensive root canal and crown that was placed wrong. I must say she was very impressed that she could chew on that tooth again. If you are contemplating this type of treatment, look at the success of 4 people in 1 family! In my personal opinion, Dr Irma seems to care about her patients as she would care about someone in her family and Dr Lugo is my hero! She could have easily charged more and I honestly was not expecting it to be that cheap for myself not to mention my husband's treatment. Both of our treatment was not even 1/4 of what it would be for me alone in the states. I was able to focus on my doctorate again because I had a reason to smile! I will forever admire, trust and respect Dr Irma. Without her, my life and confidence would not be the same! 5 stars are simply not high enough!

The staff and dental treatment at Dental Evolution was beyond excellent. While vacationing in Cancun, I needed emergency root canal. Drs. Adriana Vazquez Corona and David Enriquez Sanchez were extremely professional, and compassionate. Their clinical is state of the art. They assessed my situation separately then collaborated with their findings. From my first course of antibiotics to my last treatment in the office, I praise this team. I am now considering all my future dental work be with dental evolution. I praise this office.

I had a previous estimate done here in Canada to which Dr. Berron felt was appropriate so we went with the same recommendations. My first visit was completed with ease, with no discomfort. The staff were very accommodating, friendly & professional which made me feel very well taken care of. My second and final treatment was done with the same care and professionalism, so all in all I would recommend anyone considering travelling to Cancun as a viable alternative to what is being offered in Canada, both economically as well as the professional standards.

I got into a motorcycle accident a year ago and came in with an implant on my lateral tooth and 2 semi-failed gum surgeries in that area. The implant was not one they were familiar with but they successfully managed to make it work. They were able to fix the majority of my gums with another gum graft. Will probably need one more gum surgery from them to perfect the job. I came in with a lot of bone missing. I also got 5 crowns that were made in the clinic within 2 days, which I got to edit a bunch of times waiting 15 minutes in between with perfect work each time. Great place. Highly recommend if you are planning to save money and go overseas for any type of dental work. Such a beautiful place to venture while getting your teeth professionally done as if it were in Canada/USA. The periodontist was great, very knowledgeable and the rest of the doctors were as well. Very welcoming and enjoyable environment, especially from the drivers, receptionists and assistants. Dr Irma Gavaldon was always there to double and triple check that the best possible solution was carried out. Definitely returning to finish and will always go back to them for future larger work. (Unless they suddenly disappear or perform faulty work) A+
