I was in Ireland recently visiting family and had a dental emergency when one of my caps cracked and fell out. Dr. Tom fit me in that evening and in 20 minutes had put two pins in my mouth and restored the cap. It was painless and fast. I would highly recommend this dental office and Dr. Tom. BTW I am home in the United States and the cap is still holding!

Was seen by Dr. Basil Kelly at very short notice. Had tooth flare up during the night and was scheduled for surgery at the Beacon hospital on the following day . Dr Kelly accommodated me at lunchtime and extracted the tooth. His skill and execution were second to none. He is a superb dentist and a lovely compassionate man and I highly recommend him.

Our dentists can perform root canal treatment to stop the infection from spreading and will preserve as much of your tooth as possible. Using specific techniques and advanced equipment, you will receive a local anaesthetic and the treatment overall should feel no different to having an ordinary filling placed. The aim of the treatment is to remove all infection from the root canal. The root is then cleaned and filled to prevent any further infection. A temporary filling is put in and the tooth is left to settle.The tooth is checked at a later visit and when all the infection has cleared, the tooth is permanently filled. Root canal treatment is a skilled and time-consuming procedure and most courses of treatment will involve two or more visits.  To keep your mouth in tip top shape we recommend you come in for regular hygiene appointments and dental check-ups. Is it painful?Today root canal treatment is as comfortable as getting a filling. Just around covid19 kicked in I had serious tooth pain and couldn't get a dentist appointment anywhere. I managed to get an appointment with Malahide dental practice it turned out I needed a root canal. It's a 2 stage thing and just had the second part finished a couple of days ago. I can't thank Nial and the staff enough and the finish on my tooth is top-class. I will definitely be using the practice from now on.
