Was seen by Dr. Basil Kelly at very short notice. Had tooth flare up during the night and was scheduled for surgery at the Beacon hospital on the following day . Dr Kelly accommodated me at lunchtime and extracted the tooth. His skill and execution were second to none. He is a superb dentist and a lovely compassionate man and I highly recommend him.

Our dentists can perform root canal treatment to stop the infection from spreading and will preserve as much of your tooth as possible. Using specific techniques and advanced equipment, you will receive a local anaesthetic and the treatment overall should feel no different to having an ordinary filling placed. The aim of the treatment is to remove all infection from the root canal. The root is then cleaned and filled to prevent any further infection. A temporary filling is put in and the tooth is left to settle.The tooth is checked at a later visit and when all the infection has cleared, the tooth is permanently filled. Root canal treatment is a skilled and time-consuming procedure and most courses of treatment will involve two or more visits.  To keep your mouth in tip top shape we recommend you come in for regular hygiene appointments and dental check-ups. Is it painful?Today root canal treatment is as comfortable as getting a filling. With advanced local anaesthesia options and techniques it shouldn’t be painful.  Although pain can be experienced, this is because of the infection in the tooth. Pain isn’t caused by the root canal treatment. I’m not feeling any pain, so I don’t need a root canal treatment.Your dentist will see and advise you if the pulp of your teeth is damaged or infected. It is rare to find a dental practice that has it all ....superb dental work with attention to detail ,warm friendly staff, reasonable prices and nothing is too much trouble for them.I had to have two teeth done just before Christmas and I was seen immediately and fitted in and didn't feel one bit rushed even though that day was particularly busy. Dr. Rabea is a gifted dentist , highly professional and a lovely person.I trusted him totally and he was marvellous. From the very first visit last May ,he put me at ease and explained everything to me right through the treatment. I cannot recommend Dr. Rabea highly enough and my dental journey was amazing . Noeleen and Stacey support Dr. Rabea so well also and the atmosphere is calm and unrushed . For the standard of dental work and the reasonable prices this practise cannot be surpassed .I really appreciate all the care they gave me. I will definitely return . Top class practice and top class people !

Had great treatment done under sedation here & wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. However, they have since stopped offering this service which has lead to a lot of difficulties finding a dentist that now does it.

I was in Ireland recently visiting family and had a dental emergency when one of my caps cracked and fell out. Dr. Tom fit me in that evening and in 20 minutes had put two pins in my mouth and restored the cap. It was painless and fast. I would highly recommend this dental office and Dr. Tom. BTW I am home in the United States and the cap is still holding!
