I like helping people and this has been reflected in my many years of working in nursing and social care.
Working as a therapist has and continues to be the most fulfilling job I have ever had.
I believe that the answers to your problems lie within you, my job is to support you in understanding those problems, gently accepting you. I do this by active listening to you, integrating knowledge and experience to empower you with the tools to gently accept you.
Deciding to attend therapy shows your strength and your ability to want to change.
I work with individuals who are not happy within their life they want to change but are unsure how.
If you are wondering constantly what will they think if I do a,b or c in work or in your private life then think about attending therapy?
I have worked with clients who do not feel they are good enough and are always comparing themselves to others.
I actively listened to without judgment with all your imperfections and accepted exactly as you are in that moment of time.
Gently accepting you.
The result is that you grow, as you talk about your difficulties you realise you are good enough.
Life is somewhat easier when you are not striving for perfectionism.
