I suffer from occasional back pain - not generally severe but recurrent. In March, during the lockdown, I suffered a bout of pain in my back and knee that was keeping me awake at night and called the clinic (which I have visited before). A single consultation two days later (with all of the proper safety measures in place) reassured me and massage and exercise have relieved the symptoms. It's a great reassurance to know that I can get an appointment quickly with the person I want to see and get the treatment I need - while enjoying a chat about farming and the cultivation of apple (or was it plum?) trees.

I picked Perfect Balance having found an offer on Instagram. I was a bit sceptical at first but was so glad I went. Very happy with Rachel at St Albans. I went in really miserable having overdone my prep for a ski holiday and ended up with a knee problem a few weeks before my trip. She was thorough in her assessment and came up with a diagnosis and plan to get me through my holiday albeit strapped up and with lots of post-ski massage and stretching. I have continued with my sessions with Rachel and exercises at home and have turned a corner and have recently started returning to my regular exercise routine. Rachel is very empathetic, listens and is clearly very experienced. She picked up that my knee problem didn’t originate there and was the consequence of weaknesses elsewhere such as hip, VMO and IT band. Fix these and the problem goes away!

Leo is a fantastic physio, he has helped me tremendously with sciatica/back pain issues, treating me and giving me practical advice on how to solve the pain day today. I would go so far as to say I have had the best treatment of any physio from him! Everything he has done for me has helped and he definitely is someone I would not hesitate to recommend. He definitely cares about your progress and doesn't make follow on appointments unless required which is great and thoughtful of you as a patient.

Numerous sporting injuries have led me back to Tollhouse Clinic over the years. On every occasion I can say their professional opinion has been proved correct; their attention to detail and effective treatment has enabled me to continue to stay active and enjoy my sport well into my 40’s. A very satisfactory visit. I went because my left leg was so painful when going up inclines or stairs it was affecting my life. The worker was patient and listened carefully. He was encouraging and was able to restore my waning confidence in my own abilities. I feel I had a thorough examination and left the visit feeling hopeful and determined.
