Simone offered a tailored treatment of acupuncture, massage and Chinese Medicine (Herbs) that really made a key difference to me, not just to the back pain but to my overall well being. Lovely location and serene surroundings. Stripped back pine flooring and a roaring fire in the stove, what's not to like? Easy to reach by public transport (Dinas Powys train station is 10-15 minutes walk away).

As a Nurse Practitioner in a busy hospital, falling downstairs and damaging my back wasn't the best career move to make. This, coupled with increasing pain and limited movement led me to Olwyn. I was initially impressed with her web page which was professional, honest and informative as well as the strict Covid 19 rules. On meeting Olwyn, it was transparent from the start that she genuinely wanted to help me and I knew immediately that I was in good hands and could trust her implicitly. The consultation and diagnosis were swift and not only did Olwyn 'release' the pain in my lower back but she found an old injury in my upper back that had been preventing me from taking a deep breath for some time. The relief I felt was immediate. I would not hesitate to recommend Olwyn to anyone and have already decided that if I need a Chiropractor in the future, there is only one person I would trust. I am not really ready yet to give a review of my treatment yet as it is early days. However suffice to say that a couple of days before Andrew, who is one of the chiropractors talked me through my requirements and arranged for me to see Stacey who does acupuncture as well. When I met her she took a detailed history of several areas of pain and was spot on in her assessment. She treated me on the pain sites on that first appointment which pleasantly surprised me. I left feeling reassured and with an exercise to do at home. My next appointment is on Thursday and I am really relaxed and looking forward to it. The choice was because it is not too far from my home and talking to Andrew about Stacey was reassuring. The Clinic was spotless and cleaning was ongoing. Good value!
