Given an appointment the same day with Paul, physio needed for back injury acquired when lifting, diagnosed with pulled muscles. Paul got me gently moving my back and showed me exercises that were achievable at home. Went in struggling to stand, and left feeling so much better! Highly recommend the clinic, dealt with me with empathy and compassion. Forever grateful for good value for money treatment. Over 10 years, I have visited Jonathan's practice for my lower back, sciatica, tendonitis and a Baker's cyst. I would always recommend this practice first. On every occasion, Jonathan considers the individual, treats them like a person and not a number. He will recommend other treatments if appropriate. His knowledge of the latest research, willingness to be open to alternatives is very impressive and the surgery is well equipped. Every treatment I have had in the past along with the advice for self-help has produced excellent results. Excellent, friendly and efficient.
Sought treatment for lower back/hip pain which had really limited my mobility over many months. Received an ultrasound-guided cortisone injection for my hip pain and started a gym programme for strength. The whole setup at Core Physio is professional and reassuring. Anticipating a hip replacement and needing to lose weight. I was given an appointment with a physio Dotty at the clinic for whom I coincidentally happened to receive a personal recommendation. At about the same time from another person, I had met at the Langton pool who had seen her himself regarding his rehab after a knee operation and speaks highly of her. Dotty helped me prepare mentally and physically for the operation. She has made special arrangements for me to be part of a beginners Pilates class which she runs so that I could start exercising appropriately from about a week after the operation. Dotty has used manipulation, massage to make walking easier and help the process of healing. Dotty acutely observes, assesses gait, has made recommendations about exercising in a swimming pool and on an exercise bike. My experience with everybody at the clinic has been marvellous. Including the receptionist Mash who took my original call and advised me in the first instance how Dotty would be able to help on diet. In fact, I have lost a stone but Dotty has not focused on weight loss specifically only increasing mobility, awareness and fitness by means of Pilates.
