I had lens replacement surgery with Associate Professor of ophthalmology Dr Derda Oder at BHT clinic in Istanbul. From the initial contact with him to the end he was very down to earth, transparent, friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. I had researched and contacted many surgeons. He suggested lenses that would be suitable for each eye and on examining me when I got there, decided one eye needed a different lens which was £150 less. He immediately informed me. He is an excellent surgeon and Hasan, his lovely, capable interpreter was there for me at all times. All the staff are very professional and attentive. The surgery went well and the aftercare was very good. On my last visit, Dr Derda said to contact them at any time if I have any questions or concerns, gave me lifetime lens passports and told me any time I was in Turkey I was to come and have a free assessment. Dr Derda is also very well priced and I’m absolutely thrilled to throw away glasses that I’ve been wearing for many decades. I highly recommend Dr Derda and his team. Went for a lasik surgery and the proce is unbelievably cheaper than UK but you get superb results.

The whole experience has been top class. I chose Praga Medica as they were competitive in pricing and because the reviews online were positive. Daniela was most helpful in communications lead up to the actual treatment sessions, clear and concise. I found all the staff at NeoVize polite and professional. A translator was provided however this was not really needed. The clinic is very easy to find, a two minute walk from the metro station in Prague. The actual surgery (I had monofocal lens replacement) was less than ten minutes for each eye (performed on separate days) and was painless. I have to say that I am astounded by the results and can see brilliantly for the first time in my life. I cannot recommend Praga Medica highly enough. The surgery has been life changing!
