I had two previous laser surgeries for myopia years ago, and have now developed presbyopia. I wanted to explore Presbyond treatment. In my home country, this was recommended to me, but the cost was extremely high. Through Whatclinic, I found a surgeon in Istanbul, and after an examination, he scheduled me for surgery the day before my flight home. He mentioned no specific complications and described it as fairly straightforward. On the day of the scheduled operation, it was cancelled due to a technical fault with the hospital's equipment. I was devastated. With the help of AI, I found my way to Batıgöz in Istanbul, which offers the original ZEISS Presbyond treatment. An assistant there, Aynur, got in touch with me immediately and arranged an appointment for 9 am the next morning, with thorough examinations and a consultation with Prof. Dr Ercüment Bozkurt. He confirmed he could perform the surgery, and explained that it would give me satisfactory near and distance vision, but that my overall visual quality would be somewhat reduced. He took the time to explain that there was already damage to my cornea from the previous surgeries. He asked about my interests, profession, and hobbies, which could potentially be affected. He also told me that if it were his own eyes, he would leave them as they were and continue with progressive glasses. He gave me simulation glasses to show me my expected vision and asked me to take some time to think it over. After considering it carefully, testing various tasks I rely on daily while wearing the "trial glasses," and consulting with my family, I decided to go ahead with the surgery after all. It was performed that same day — and both the doctor and the entire team had to wait for me for an hour and a half due to a delay on my part. Not a single word of complaint — only kindness, service, and professionalism. Today I am glasses-free again, seeing exactly as expected. The price at this top clinic, Batıgöz, was actually lower than what I had been quoted by the surgeon I originally had an appointment with. The treatment was the original ZEISS VisuMax femtosecond laser — the gold standard in the field. I cannot praise Dr. Bozkurt, Aynur, and the rest of the team enough. Dr. Bozkurt is a true professional, focused on the patient's best interest rather than his own profit. I am taking this experience back with me into my own profession, as an ideal to strive for, and I am forever grateful. I had EDOF lenses installed at this clinic in May 2025, and I am completely happy with the results and the service provided. I had LASIK surgery at this hospital and couldn’t be happier. I chose Dr. Bahadir because Djidda, the coordinator, was very informative, reassuring, and quick to respond. My LASIK procedure went very well, with only a couple of hours of expected discomfort afterward. When we arrived, after speaking with Dr. Bahadir, my dad decided to have lens replacement surgery. My mum also wanted to, but after consultation and tests, Dr. Bahadir advised against it, and we appreciated his honesty and transparency. Djidda accompanied us throughout the process, translating and assisting, which was extremely helpful. It was also very reassuring to have our surgeries at Antalya’s largest and most well-known private hospital. The service was excellent, and the VIP taxis were a wonderful touch. Even now that we are back home, both Dr. Bahadir and Djidda are available to contact, so we can call or message them with any questions. My experience was so positive that I have some friends now looking into going as well. Highly recommended!

Went for a lasik surgery and the proce is unbelievably cheaper than UK but you get superb results.
