I recently had a deep plane face and neck lift with Dr Atsal, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Dr Atsal is an excellent surgeon — skilled, precise, and genuinely warm and caring throughout the whole process. He took the time to make sure I understood everything and felt confident every step of the way.

The whole team around him deserves just as much praise. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel looked after, from the first consultation through to aftercare — kind, attentive, and reassuring at every turn.

What really stood out was the transparency: everything was included, with no hidden costs cropping up along the way. The accommodation was lovely, and transfers were smooth and efficient, which made the whole trip stress-free.

This is the most difficult review I have ever written, as nothing I could put into words would accurately describe the most incredible experience I had with Dr, Gorkem and his amazing staff! The Dr. Gorkem experience was "all inclusive" with surgeries, transportation, and hotel accommodations included in the price. There were NO HIDDEN FEES!! I will go into more detail about my experience, but to synopsize my extremely positive journey, I would have to say it was beyond imagination, beyond belief, and beyond my expectations. My entire experience would necessitate a "million Stars to rate my overall experience". I would not look or consult with any other facial or body rejuvenation clinic other than Dr. Gorkem Atsal Clinic. If you did. you would be wasting your time on inferior treatment and in some case ridiculously inflated prices. I told Dr. Gorkem and his staff they could provide my contact information if someone needed to hear a real evaluation outside of what is written in the review section.

I carefully researched cosmetic and rejuvenation clinics and locations worldwide to find the best surgeon and clinic for my procedures. I researched clinics in the US, South Korea, Mexico, Brazil and Turkiye. The US and South Korea had prices that were in line with each other and for my particular set of surgeries, they would cost $40 to $50 thousand dollars. Mexico and Brazil were less expensive than the US and South Korea. Mexico was a contender and one surgeon in particular had very good reviews, but communication was slow and somewhat difficult. The Mexico clinic surgeries would have been 60% cheaper than the US and Mexico, but did not include hotel accommodations nor local transportation to and from the clinic. Brazil reviews were not promising.

My research kept returning me to Turkiye for quality at a fair price. There was a general website that put me in contact with several surgeons. I completed the required preliminary information for the website and waited for any response. I went to sleep at 10PM and when I awoke there was a WhatsApp message from Yasemin at the Dr. Gorkem Atsal Clinic. The message was sent only 3 hours after my initial contact!!! That quick response truly impressed me. I read the message and provided additional information and photos of me for the cost estimate and evaluation for any other services they thought might enhance my goals.

The next message I received from Yasemin was shortly after 7AM stating Dr. Gorkem had reviewed my history and photos, and his recommended surgery plan with cost. I was extremely surprised at the very reasonable cost for the surgeries I wanted to do at 1/3rd the cost of the US!! Keep in mind I am a 70 year old male and nature and physics aged my looks. So this was not just a simplistic set of surgeries I needed to restore a more youthful appearance.

Yasemin was assigned as my primary contact person and she was amazing. First, Yasemin's communication was more often in a matter of minutes, and not hours like I would have expected. Yasemin was truly my personal concierge that was always available. Yasemin was very knowledgeable, concerned, caring, and a very nice person! Yasemin scheduled my surgery dates, hotel accommodations, transportation, and even helped me with my Turkish Airlines flights! I honestly had to do nothing other than book my flights and send funds for the surgeries! Yasemin did it ALL!!

I arrived in Istanbul Turkiye the day before my surgery and it was simple to get through Customs and baggage. Yasemin's instructions of what to do once I arrived at the airport were detailed, concise, and 100% accurate. The shuttle met me at the airport and within 30 minutes I was at the "G Hotel" which was a very nice, clean, and modern hotel with a nice front desk staff.

The following day, the shuttle picked me up at the "G" and I met my first consultant, "Nilsu" who was sooo sweet, and friendly. Nilsu was at my side during the entire hospital registration process which was extremely efficient and fast. Within an hour or so, I was in my hospital room awaiting my consultation with Dr. Gorkem. When I met Dr. Gorkem he was so nice. friendly, welcoming, and had a huge smile. Dr. Gorkem made me feel relaxed and special and his evaluation of my surgery needs were very explanative and in terms I could understand. Within 90 minutes, I was in surgery and on my way to my reborn appearance!!

The hospital staff was attentive and professional and due to an added surgery to my original plan, I spent 3 nights at the hospital. The hospital was very clean and everyone was so polite! A funny side note was my daily 5AM wakeup alarm, although unplanned. My room was located on an upper floor that overlooked the hospital entrance. There was a worker who was pushing a metal cart that had a an obvious broken wheel and every time it rotated, the metal cart made a huge "bang"! This "bang" seemed to last an eternity, but in actuality was 15-20 minutes as the worker pushed the cart around the hospital exterior! LOL

I had 4 personal consultants during my hospital stay, Nilsu, Sherri, Assia and Sahar. They all looked like supermodels and were soooo kind, sweet, caring, and were very concerned about my comfort and healing. My consultant coverage was about 18 hours a day with regular visits. In addition to my personal consultants visits, Dr. Gorkem visited me every morning, checking on my healing, and reviewing my surgical areas. Dr. Gorkem gave me a hug every visit and topped it off with his signature big smile. I can't say enough about Dr. Gorkem's professional demeanor and his friendly and kind bedside manor. Dr. Gorkem is the nicest doctor and person I have ever met and is the kind of person you would like to have in your personal friend circle.

In addition to my facial surgery, I had a hair transplant and dental work. All of the services were coordinated by Dr. Gorkem Atsal Clinic and staff. Talk about "one stop shopping"! Everything flowed incredibly smoothly and with all the different pieces of my experience comparable to a finely tuned choreography of a Broadway Stage production!!

I was sad to leave Istanbul. Dr. Gorkem, Nilsu, Sherri, Assia, Sahar, and the entire staff behind the scenes that made my rejuvenation possible, sort of my last hurrah in life. I have always put others in my personal and professional life ahead of me... But for 10 days, I felt like I was the most important person in the world.

I visited Doctor Gorkem in the Radisson Blu hotel in London for a consultation while he was in the UK recently. We discussed my case, and I decided to go ahead with an endoscopic brow lift and fat injection to the face and hands in Istanbul.

It has now been 12 weeks since the procedure. I am super pleased with the result. The brow lift has given me a natural lifting of the eyebrows and has freshened the eye area; however, I am still recovering as the feeling has not fully returned in the scalp area, so I just need a little more time to get back to normal. The fat injections to my hands have given a full, younger effect, and my face now looks fuller and fresher. The temple area is still in the healing process.

I am so grateful for the wonderful outcome of my surgery and thank you, Dr Gorke,m and the team for your incredible skill and care.

If I could give a 100 star review, I would! I came to Doctor Görkem from Utah, USA, based on personal research and a gut feeling. My expectations were exceeded in every way from consultation, coordinated travel, appointments, handholding and of course, surgery. I found out that Doctor Gorkem’s name means charming, and I can’t think of a better description of the man except perhaps artist and magician. I had 67 years of sun worship, stress and ageing on my face along with a triple chin. I had deep plane face, chin and neck and upper and lower bleph. This is the second time and my husband has visited Dr Gorkem Astal. Last year we both had upper and lower blepharoplasty. My Husband had been dealing with hair loss for a number of years, which had a significant impact on his self-esteem. He decided to undergo a hair transplant a procedure that involved harvesting hair from a dense area to the balding area. His procedure was a follicular unit extraction (FUE), which is known for a less invasive recovery and no scarring. His experience from consultation to recovery was very different from mine. The procedure was done under local anaesthesia and he was awake for the entire time. He said it was a long day but not painful just a little uncomfortable at times, especially sleeping, he has minor swelling and redness and the donor area was a little sore for a few days but he is now getting back to normal. His results are still in the process of becoming fully apparent, as hair growth takes time; however,he is already seeing new growth and his hairline looks incredibly natural. He is thrilled with the process so far and is already starting to feel more confident. It was helpful to have each other for support and understanding. We have learned that these decisions are deeply personal and finding the right doctor and also having realistic expectations are the key to a positive outcome. We are both very happy with our decisions and the results we have. If you are considering having cosmetic surgery, we hope our story provides a bit of insight and encouragement. They arrange everything for you, support you constantly and you don't have to worry about transfers or accommodation; the accommodation was exceptional.

After reading a couple of bad reviews about the doctor and his assistants, i want to share my real experience with them, without leading you blind.
I’ve had a rhinoplasty done with the Dr., last week; it’s the beginning of my second week now. I am writing this review regarding the treatment, the hospitality and everything overall. I won't be saying anything huge about my rhinoplasty, yet.

First things first, the price i paid was for operation, hotel and transport fees. As transport, i mean from airport, to clinic, to hospital and back to airport, don't expect to be driven everywhere you like for free.
The first person who introduced me to everything was one of his assistants Gulce. Gulce speaks really good English (maybe other languages, but that was the language we spoke). She was really patient with every question i had towards the rhinoplasty, and she is very sweet as person too.
On my day of arrival, it was a late flight and i couldn’t do nor a consultation, nor the tests needed for the operation. The next day, early morning, they always texts you the night before to let you know what time the driver will pick you up from the hotel, i went for me consultation with the Dr. and his assistants. By the way before your arrival his assistant makes a group chat with all his assistants, a private group chat just for you if anything needed after work times . The Dr. speaks good English, please note that in Turkey they don't teach them english in school or etc. so don’t judge if the accent is not good. The Dr. is really nice, was very patient with doing my 3D result of my rhinoplasty, because I didn’t liked it 3 times 🤭 Overall first impression was good for me, good manners, gives you tea or coffee, everything you need is there. They have modern interior, new machines.

The next day was my operation… here i do have to say a few things about the hospital service. The 5 stars on my review is for the Dr. and his crew, nothing to do with the hospital. When going for the operation, you are put in a private hospital, yes he doesn’t own a hospital and so does a lot of other Drs in Turkey. I was put in a room by myself, the room was clean, new and spacious. First thing we did was get blood tests, then i signed the documents for the operation, which his assistant Asal was with me the whole time in the hospital and was really sweet and patient with me as i am scared of needles. Because i mentioned to the Dr. I’ve had a heart surgery as a child he insisted to be checked, i was rushed up and down the elevators, later i saw that the Dr. was arguing with the medical sisters on shift for making me go up and down, as i was already in my hospital gown and abocat and was not really comfortable. I was really touched by that, because i felt safe.
My operation went well, and I haven’t felt any pain in my nose to this day. The only pain I was feeling was my abocat, it was hurting so bad that I think this was the worst of all. And nobody spoke English in the hospital, so it was a nightmare. I only stayed 1 night at the hospital and was driven back home. Before going home, the Dr. came to check up on me and explained what he has done to my nose.

After 3 days, my nose cast was removed and the things they put inside your nostrils, dont know the correct name. That was the best part of all. Then the Dr. explained what and shat not to do, how to massage it, i am very pleased of the communication i had with him as Dr and patient, note that i was by myself.

To this day i keep in touch with his assistant Gulce, asking any questions, they insist to take pictures every day to follow your healing process, which for me sounds enough for a Drs job and team. I am pleased with the choice i made, i felt at home.

I previously wrote a review both before and shortly after my surgery, at which time I was very happy with the experience.
Overall, I am generally pleased with the work that was carried out. However, there are some areas that I had paid for that appear not to have been treated.

I first raised this concern in December 2025. Since then, I have been informed that the surgeon who performed my procedure has now left the clinic and that the work completed was what could be done at the time.

From my perspective, it is still clearly visible that my lower back was not treated. I asked for a call to discuss this further, but I have not received one.

The response I have received so far has been that the surgeon completed what was possible during the procedure. I was then provided with a quotation for additional surgery to address the remaining area, which was higher than quotes I have received from other companies.

This situation has been very disappointing for me, particularly as I had already raised the concern some time ago and was hoping for a clearer resolution.

Based on my experience, I would advise anyone considering treatment to ensure that the specific areas to be treated are clearly discussed and confirmed beforehand
